Every episode you publish gets its own page on your website, built automatically from your RSS feed. Each page includes the episode's title, artwork, media player, player links, and tabs for Show Notes, Chapters and Transcript when your feed includes them — plus a Guest Profile tab when a guest is attached.
You edit each episode's content individually, but the design settings below apply to every episode page at once.
How to change the episode page design
- In your dashboard, go to Episodes → All Episodes and click the Episode Page Design tab at the top. You'll see a live preview of your latest episode page.
- Click Edit Page to open the Episode Pages editor.
- Adjust any of these sections:
- Header — no header, your site's global header, a centered header, or a banner image.
- Media Player — choose the Episode Page Media Player. See Editing the media player. To turn Podpage's audio player on or off, or add a download button, go to Settings → Media Player.
- Image Style — how your episode image appears above the player.
- Player Links — the size of the listen badges below your player.
- Expand Sections (Pro) — show show notes, chapters and transcript fully expanded instead of in tabs.
- Episode Footer (Pro) — text that appears after the show notes on every episode. See Adding a footer to every episode page.
- Click Save at the top of the editor.
Editing a single episode
To change one episode's show notes, image or guests, go to Episodes → All Episodes and click the episode.
Tip: Episode pages are already set up for search engines — see How Podpage optimizes your episode pages for search engines. To change an episode's web address, see Customizing your episode links.
