Once your RSS feed is connected, Podpage keeps your website up to date on its own. When you publish a new episode, Podpage detects it in your feed and builds an episode page for it — no manual uploads or page creation.
What happens automatically
- Episode import: Podpage monitors your feed and imports every new episode as soon as it's detected.
- SEO-friendly URLs: Each episode gets a human-readable URL based on its title. See customizing your episode links.
- Formatted metadata: Show notes, episode numbers, seasons, and artwork are formatted for a clean, professional page.
- Sitemap inclusion: New episodes are added to your sitemap so search engines find them quickly.
- Transcript import: If your feed includes a transcript, Podpage imports it onto the episode page.
- Deep links: On the Elite plan, Podpage finds direct links to the episode on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. See episode deep links.
- Social posting: If you've set up Autopilot → Post to Social, Podpage posts the new episode to your connected accounts.
- Guest profiles: If you pre-set the episode's guest, Podpage attaches their profile to the episode page.
If an episode doesn't appear
- In your dashboard, go to Episodes → All Episodes.
- Click Check for New Episodes to re-read your feed and import anything missing.
