Transcripts make your episodes accessible to more people and give search engines the full text of your show, which helps your episode pages rank. Podpage can import transcripts automatically from your feed, or you can add them by hand.

Automatic import from your feed
If your podcast feed includes transcripts, Podpage imports and publishes them with each episode automatically — no manual work needed.
Note: Podpage imports text-based transcript formats such as SRT, TXT, HTML, DOCX, and JSON. PDF transcripts can't be imported.
How to add a transcript manually
- In your dashboard, go to Episodes → All Episodes and click Edit on the episode.
- Scroll down to the Transcript field and paste your transcript text.
- Click Save. The transcript appears in its own tab on the episode page.
