Trying to point your GoDaddy domain at Podpage, but GoDaddy shows a "Can't edit" message on the DNS records you need to change? This is usually quick to fix — something else in your GoDaddy account is locking those records.
How to fix it
Check for these three common causes:
- Domain forwarding is turned on. If your domain forwards to another address, that forwarding takes over the DNS records. Turn off forwarding in your GoDaddy account and the records become editable again.
- Custom nameservers are configured. If your domain points to nameservers outside GoDaddy, you can't edit DNS through GoDaddy. Reset your nameservers to GoDaddy's defaults to regain control.
- A GoDaddy "Website" product is active. A GoDaddy website builder or similar product can lock your DNS records. Turn off the website builder and the records become editable.

Still locked out?
If none of these fixes work, contact GoDaddy support and ask them to unlock the DNS settings for your domain. They can see exactly what's blocking the records on their end.
