Get Ready for the Xpods Event – Help Us Choose the Categories!
Hello Fellow Indie Podcasters and Enthusiasts!
As the year draws to a close, it's time to bring our vibrant podcasting community together for a celebration of creativity, diversity, and of course, some friendly competition. I'm excited to announce the upcoming Xpods event, previously known as Twipods, and I need your help to kick things off!
Choose Your Favorite Categories
I'm putting the power in your hands to select the official categories for the Xpods event. This is your chance to shape the competition and highlight the aspects of indie podcasting that you love most.
Here’s how you can participate:
- Visit the Embedded Form on the Website: I've set up an easy-to-use form right here on this blog post. Scroll down and you’ll find it ready for your input.
- Multiple Choices Allowed: Feel free to select as many categories from the provided list as you like.
- Suggest Your Own: Got an idea for a unique category? I’d love to hear it! There’s an option to write in your own suggestions.
- Deadline for Submissions: Make sure to submit your choices by Midnight on December 18th. This will give me time to tally the votes and set up the final categories for voting.
Voting and Event Timeline
- Voting Starts: December 18th
- Voting Ends: Midnight on New Year’s Day, January 1st, 2024
- Where to Vote: All voting will take place on X (formerly known as Twitter).

- Inform Your Audience: Let your listeners know about the upcoming voting. Encourage them to participate and support their favorite indie podcasts.
- Share the Form: The more podcast hosts that contribute to selecting the categories, the more representative and exciting the event will be!
