Ron Sexsmith is Canada’s foremost well-healed troubadour. With more than 17 albums to his credit this Juno award winning singer-songwriter and critically acclaimed author joins storybooks to shares some of the challenges, decisions, advice and stick-to-itiveness that has allowed him to build such a large and loyal fan base around the world.
Ron started his first band when he was just 14 and started recording songs at 21, he built a reputation in his hometown of St. Catharine’s of being a one-man Juke Box before he moved to Toronto to make it in the music business.
Ron tells us about his vison of headlining at Massey Hall after seeing the likes of Dylan, Lightfoot, Costello and others appear on that hallowed stage.
In 2017, Sexsmith penned his first novel, the critically acclaimed “Deer Life” which Ron one day hopes to turn into a musical at some point, he also shares his take on twitter and social media.
