Evan Jaqua

Founder of the Solutions Party | One-Term Limit Advocate | International Business Veteran

Evan Jaqua is the founder of the Solutions Party and the force behind its blunt central demand: one term only. No re-election. No running for the next office while you serve.

His route there was not a political one. Evan spent roughly two decades living and working outside the United States, largely in Japan, with extended time in China and South America, building a career across international business development, information technology, and aviation. He speaks English, Japanese, Spanish, and Chinese. Coming home, he concluded that career politicians, rage-bait news, and permanent parties are the common denominator behind government failure everywhere. The Solutions Party is registered as a nonprofit in Oregon.

The platform reaches well past term limits: temporary political parties, five-year government jobs with efficiency bounties, certified journalism funded through a National Press Fund, and a worldwide war on corruption that starts at the local bid table.

On Space Tomatoes S3-EP10 ("One Term Only"), Havok and LX pushed back hard on all of it. How do you persuade the people extracting wealth from power to vote it away? Who audits the auditors? And is government itself the tumor? Evan answers with Lincoln, Thomas Sowell, Carroll Quigley, and a stubborn faith that voters are tired of the Kool-Aid.
