Katie McKenna joins me from her home in Pana, Illinois, via Zoom to share her story of daydreaming as a young kid of wanting to listen to rock-and-roll music and party with friends,  becoming ungovernable as a teenager, and trying meth for the first time at 12 years old. Her do-what-I-want attitude lead her to 25 months in prison after a fatal car accident.  After her release from prison, she had to experiment for a few more years before she believed she was worth the effort of turning her life around.
