Trooping the Colour 2025 was a blend of pageantry, poignancy, and power plays. King Charles III marked his official birthday with a moving tribute to victims of the Air India crash, wearing a black armband and requesting a minute’s silence. Catherine, Princess of Wales, made her highly anticipated return to royal duties after cancer treatment, drawing cheers as she joined her family for the parade and balcony appearance. Meanwhile, Prince Harry remained conspicuously absent.

In the King’s Birthday Honours, cultural icons David Beckham, Gary Oldman, and Roger Daltrey were knighted, earning their “Sir” titles.

At the King’s Foundation Awards, Charles rubbed elbows with Meryl Streep, Kate Winslet, and Stanley Tucci.
