New Prince Andrew Party Claims, Charles Under Pressure, and William Pushed Toward Harry Peace Talks

A new report has revived scrutiny over Prince Andrew's past links to Jeffrey Epstein and Glaine Maxwell, with fresh claims about what allegedly took place during the party at Sandryham in two thousand. Speaking on the Royalist podcast, Royal biographer Robert Jobson challenged Andrew's previous description of the gathering as simply a shooting weekend and claimed the event was far more troubling behind the scenes. Andrew had told the BBC in twenty nineteen it was a shooting weekend, just a straightforward shooting weekend. He also said at the time at the time, there was no indication to me or anybody else that that was what he was doing, referring to Epstein, and added that nothing about him had seemed suspicious. But Jobson now says palace staff were left shocked by what they found after the event.

1:01 He said it was far from straightforward and the staff were appalled by what they had to be involved with and actually witnessed. When I wrote the book, I was told by the source that actually they were appalled at having to clear up all these things that were distributed amongst the guests. He claimed those items included sex drugs like poppers and condoms and loube and all this sort of stuff which wasn't really the sort of thing they had expected to be dealing with. He went on to allege it later transpired that actually they were like party bags. They were given out by the host. We can only presume the host is Andrew, because he was there at his mother's house to give to all the guests. The staff, you know, they're not easily shocked that much, but I think they were more appalled by the whole what was going on, more than anything. And can you imagine what the late Queen would have thought. I'm not sure that she would have been overly impressed. Jobson also claimed the Charles and then Prince of Wales later confronted Andrew over his association with Epstein, saying there had been a conversation in which Andrew gave assurances he had not been involved in anything unto ward. A report claims King Charles has been maintaining regular contact with Prince Andrew, not out of closeness, but out of concern over what might happen if Andrew were cut off completely. One unnamed source claims Charles is continuing to take what has been described as near daily, almost pleading calls from Andrew because in truth, he doesn't feel he has the freedom to shut that door completely.

2:24 There's a very real anxiety within the palace about how Andrew might react if he were fully cut off, and that uncertainty is driving a lot of the King's decisions right now. It's not a relationship being maintained out of warmth. It's far more strategic than that. Charles is in effect being pressured into keeping that line open because there's a lingering fear that Andrew could go rogue on the royal family if he feels isolated or backed into a corner. Charles knows that cutting Andrew off entirely could escalate things, so he's trying to contain the situation rather than flame it. That's what makes it so fraught and why Charles's hand it so cautiously in an effort to protect the stability of the wider institution. Perhaps Charles ought to wear his naval admiral's uniform when he goes to the White House, medals and all. But what Charles really takes to Washington is the monarchy's greatest diplomatic asset, soft power. It's an ability to charm, to convince foreign governments that he's a good bloke, that Britain is worth taking seriously in trade, culture or just tourism, and that we're a reliable ally with whom to do business or hold hands with across the sea. Unfortunately, the Trump administration despises most of that, except possibly our golf courses, some of which the president owns. So Charles faces the most ticklish and potentially most consequential excursion of his reign. Such official oversees visits are carefully choreographed in advance, but it does take too to tanger when Trump is notoriously difficult to keep on message, increasingly so these days, he doesn't do protocol.

4:19 So while we are unlikely to see Trump surrounded by his grinning acolytes tearing a strip or two off the King in the Oval Office like he did to Vladimir Zelenski in February last year, Charles may well find himself listening to a rant about the shortcomings of the Prime Minister, or indeed about his plans for Canada. Where it so happens, Charles is also the head of state. The two men are hardly intellectual spiritual soulmates. Trump has no time for his environmentalism, holistic medicine or architecture unless it's one of his own buildings. Charles, of course, has been playing the diplomatic game for decades. He knows how soft words turn away wrath, and having met Trump several times on the President's of British visits, he also knows how to flatter him, which appears to be the way to his simple heart.

Charles is said to be placing growing pressure on William to repair his fractured relationship with Harry in what one report describes as a defining test of future leadership. According to Radar Online, the King views reconciliation between Prince William and Prince Harry as essential to the long term stability of the monarchy, particularly at a time of wider strain on the institution. A source told the outlet. Within palace circles, there is a clear sense that the King sees reuniting with Harry as a brutal ultimate test for William as he prepares him to become king.

One insider said, from his perspective, this is about leadership, and he's effectively told William that he must rise above the personal and prove he can act in the interests of the crown, even if it goes against his instincts. A palace aid said, William feels like he has been pushed into something he fundamentally does not agree with and that has been a major source of frustration for him. He does not believe the situation can be fixed through appearances or symbolic gestures, and he feels the seriousness of what has happened is not being fully acknowledged. Another insider said William is convinced that bringing Harry and Meghan back into any formal role would not strengthen the monarchy. In his view, it could create further instability more palace in just a moment. Fresh claims about Prince Philip's final years are prompting new questions about his health before his death in twenty twenty one. A new book by royal historian Hugo Vickers says the late Duke of Edinburgh came close to dying during heart treatment just weeks before he passed away.

The latest report follows another claim attributed to Vickers, suggesting Philip may have lived for eight years with pancreatic cancer, something that has now been questioned by medical specialists. Quoted by Radar Online, one expert said an eight year survival in what is described as inoperable pancreatic cancer would be considered highly unusual.
