Prince Harry's expected return to Britain next month could create one of the more intriguing dates on this year's Royal calendar, with both the Duke of Sussex and the Prince of Wales said to have major engagements on the same day. The possibility was highlighted by a royal photographer who goes by Rookie, who noted that July tenth could see Prince William and Prince Harry carrying out separate high profile events. Writing on social media, he said it's looking like July tenth could be an interesting date in this year's Royal calendar, with the Prince of Wales's annual charity polo match taking place, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at the We Are in Victus One Year to Go event possibly taking place in Birmingham.

She can't even fathom that he could possibly forgive Harry for what he and Megan said about them in their Oprah interview, let alone what he wrote about them in Spare. The report claims concerns increased after remarks attributed to a source close to the King suggested Charles continues to support the Invictus Games, the international sporting competition founded by Prince Harry.

1:53 That source reportedly said, like the rest of the royal family, his Majesty believes that Invictus is a very worthy cause. He hopes that the Games will be a big success for Birmingham next year, and is aware that a lot of taxpayer's money has been spent on it. According to the magazine's account, that expression of support prompted renewed concern among those who fear any public warmth toward Harry could be interpreted as a step toward reconciliation. An unnamed insider told the publication she thought it was settled after America, that Charles was letting this ridiculous need to reconcile with Harry go. But then he started saying that he wants to lend his support to Invictus, that it's a worthwhile cause and he should be making an effort. Not surprisingly, that has set Camilla's alarm bells ringing, and she's warning Charles that whenever Harry and Meghan are given an inch, they inevitably take a mile. They have this very aggressive and righteous side to their personalities where they just want to get front and center of everything, and Camilla can't fathom having to smile and deal with that. As one source put it, he's not a man who takes advice easily, but if there's one person he does less to, it's Camilla. Clearly, she's had a lot of influence so far. She stopped the meeting in America, and she's torpedoed the cozy summer reunion plans Harry was pushing for. But that doesn't mean this battle is over. No one is waving the white flag just yet, and Harry is clearly going to keep on pulling at his father's heartstrings no matter what. Beyond Charles, there is an issue of William. William is also seeking to project strength and leadership these days, which often results in press briefings that he has opposed the King's handling of emotionally charged issues like Andrew mount Batten Windsor and now Harry's potential return. Royal journalist Emily Nash also expressed doubts that the brothers will spend time together during Harry's visit. I certainly wouldn't expect anything to happen on this visit, Nash said, before adding, I mean, you never know. If it was part of a wider family gathering, it's possible they could be at the same place at the same time, but you know, given the very fractious nature of the relationship between William and Harry. I don't see them rushing to spend time together just because Harry's back in the UK. I think he probably is just focused on his own moment of spending time with the son he's not seen for a long time, especially potentially meeting his grandchildren. I'm sure that's probably his primary focus right now. Matter believes that any future reconciliation would require Prince William to approach the situation differently, sort of the opposite of King Charles approach. She said.

4:30 William has been the holdout for years, viewing Harry's betrayal as unforgivable. If there were to be a private meeting between William and Harry, this would be a clear signal that lines of communication are being reopened. Nash, however, cautioned against expecting rapid progress. These things have to happen step by step, she said. When things have been as difficult and estranged as they have been in that family, I wouldn't expect things to change overnight. In his substack, Royal inside a deep grown observes the Prince of Wales does not wake in the more and hope that something important lands on his calendar. Functions are planned, sometimes months in advance. A charity gala scheduled for the evening Harry is known to be in London was scheduled because it could be scheduled for that evening. The first option means that Meghan becomes the story. Every appearance is scrutinized, every remark has passed. The visit transforms into a referendum on the Duchess's standing, her reception at place in the institutional order. This option was a means that the institution must manage her visibility, which is its own form of constraint.

6:05 The second option, the deliberate absence, suggests something different. It suggests a judgment that Megan's absence is more strategically useful than her presence. It suggests that allowing Harry to be the sole focus to drive the narrative around his own relationship with his family is preferable to having her be the centralizing force. The princess posted two photographs on Instagram on Sunday, including a picture of Jack walking with the couple's two sons, August and Ernest. However, the image was taken from behind, meaning either Jack's face nor the faces of the children were visible. The decision prompted a wave of comments from social media users, with some questioning why Eugenie has chosen not to show her children's faces online drew comparisons with Harry and Meghan, who have also largely kept Prince Archie and Princess a little bit out of the public eye. One person commented, not her taking a page out of Meghan's book and hiding the faces laughing emojis. Another asked, why would you post backs of your family?
