0:03 Calarugus Shark Media. Hello and welcome to Palace Intrigue. I am your host, Mark Francis. Sarah Ferguson is reportedly leaning on friends, and one of those friendships may be opening the door to an unexpected new influence. According to reporting from Rob Shooter, Ferguson has been spending time with longtime friend Priscilla Presley. Presley, the former wife of Elvis, has offered Ferguson a place to stay and emotional support during a turbulent period. Asau said, Presley felt a strong obligation to help because Ferguson had been kind to Presley's daughter, Lisa Marie during difficult periods in her life. Priscilla would ever forget how kind Sarah was to Lisa Marie when she was deep in her addiction struggles, so now that Sarah needs help, she's happy to be able to offer some support. The two women have been close for years, and Presley is also said to be encouraging Ferguson to write a memoir about her experiences. She got a huge amount of relief from writing her own memoir, and she's urging Sarah to do the same. The insiders said Presley has also reportedly joked that she intends to introduce Ferguson to some eligible American bachelors, saying her extensive social circle could help find the duchess and new romantic prospect. But Ferguson's time with Presley has also sparked speculation about another influence Scientology. Presley has long had connections to the Church of Scientology. She was introduced to the religion in the late seventies by John Travolta following the death of Elvis, and her daughter Lisa Marie, was raised within the church.

1:36 While there have been conflicting reports about Presley's involvement over the years, her representatives previously stated that she remained connected to the organization. Sources now say Ferguson has shown curiosity about the teachings, although she has not formally joined anything. An inside has said of Sarah, She's looking for guidance and stability right now. When your life gets turned upside down, you start exploring anything that might help. Right now, she's just listening, but Priscilla is definitely influencing her thinking. Evidence presented in the High Court has revealed that Prince Harry once socialized with a journalist from The Mail on Sunday. During proceedings in a case involving allegations of unlawful information gathering by newspaper publishers, Charlotte Griffiths, now editor at large at The Mail on Sunday, described her past interactions with the Duke of Sussex. In a witness statement submitted to the court. Griffiths said Prince Harry sent her a Facebook friend request in twenty eleven and also shared his phone number with her. She further stated that they later attended a party together in June twenty twelve at the London flat of the mutual friend Arthur Landon. In her statement, she recalled arriving at the flat before Landon had returned home and being told that Harry was already inside hosting the gathering. She said Arthur hadn't made it home by the time that I arrived, but told me Prince Harry was staying at the flat and that the party had already started under Prince Harry's watch. Griffiths continued, Prince Harry would let me in if I made it there first.

3:02 According to her account, the music at the party was loud enough that no one heard the doorbell. She said the music was loud and they didn't hear the door bell, so Arthur advised me to call and text to be let in. The details emerged during a trial involving several high profile claimants, including Prince Harry, who assuing the publisher of The Daily Mail over allegations that journalists hired private investigators to obtain information unlawfully associated newspapers. The publisher denies the allegations and argues that the claimants had social circles that were prone to sharing information. The case remains ongoing in the High Court. BBC's five hundred Words is widely regarded as the UK's most prestigious writing competition for children. The contest invites young people from across the country to write an original story they would love to read themselves, using no more than five hundred words.
