The US Democrats have control of Congress, the senate, and the white house and they are all on the same page about climate action, but the US Supreme Court is Republican-dominated and they have made a decision that undermines the Clean Air Act and the ability for the EPA to regular emissions from the fossil fuel industry. Therefore, it's time for the government to step up and make laws that will better address the climate emergency.
