It’s the week after the big game and we hope your Super Bowl hangover has subsided a bit! Football slows down a little bit until the NFL draft which starts Thursday, April 29, so we’ll discuss a few mock drafts that have caught our eye and see which direction the so-called “experts” think the Cowboys will go with the number 10 pick.
We also muse about Tony Romo and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Will he get in as a player? Broadcaster? Will CBS look for that publicity and maybe “assist” Romo getting in?
We also talk about the totally off-the-wall suggestion that Dak could be traded for Russell Wilson. What are the financial ramifications of such a deal? We’ll tell you, and we’ll also tell you what we think about such a scenario.
We also irresponsibly guess why Jerry Jones was buying wine at 7-11 and who he and Gene might have been entertaining at home with such a purchase!
And finally, we congratulate Cowboys legend Drew Pearson for his Pro Football Hall of Fame accomplishment. It’s about time!
