Why Worrying Isn’t Useful | UA23

Why Worrying Isn’t Useful | UA23

In this episode, we focus on your worried brain.

If you have a habit of worrying a lot, it’s because a part of you believes that worry is useful.

In this episode, I show you why worry isn’t useful and how you can redirect your worried brain to more productive–and enjoyable - thinking.

If you ditch the myth that worrying is productive, you will free up your beautiful brain to create the life you want. And that’s what I want for you!

If you find this episode useful and you’ve got some worrywarts in your life who might benefit from hearing it, please share it with them. Imagine what would happen if we each worried 10% less and spend 10% more time thinking creatively and expansively about our lives!

I’D LOVE TO GET TO KNOW YOU BETTER

If this podcast is whetting your appetite to start moving your life in a new direction and you’d like some help getting there, there are two ways I’ve created to help you:

⦁ When you coach with me, we’ll identify the real reasons you haven’t created a career you love so far. The best time to talk to me is well before your job search begins. I’ll show you how to avoid making the mistakes that will land you someplace that feels similar to where you are now. I’ll help you debunk myths that have been holding you back, think more creatively about your options, learn how to trust your intuition and inner wisdom, and take your first steps. ⦁ If you like the idea of joining a diverse, welcoming community where we’re focused on expansive thinking about our careers, you’ll want to join my brand new, private, free Creatively Expansive Careers Facebook group, starting very soon. ABOUT ME:

I’m a former international tax lawyer and senior partner with Ernst & Young. I left the law in 2014 to learn how to paint. After a couple years painting and selling my work, I became passionate about helping other people who feel stuck in their careers and lives and want to feel more personally fulfilled, invigorated and soul connected. I now spend my time painting, coaching, and creating live events at the George Russell Academy of Creative Expansion in beautiful Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada.
