In this inaugural episode, I share my own unlikely journey from an international tax lawyer to artist and coach.
Why unlikely? Because I’d given up on art when I was 11. Because I’d labelled myself as “uncreative” for decades. Because my tax law practice was thriving, and it seemed so odd to leave my high-profile job to do something I had no evidence to believe I’d be good at. Because until 4 years ago, I had no idea that something like life coaching existed or that I’d be so taken with it. I start by sharing my journey because this podcast is about possibility. What happened to me seemed so impossible. I hope my story will open your mind and instill in you a curiosity about the amazing and beautiful things that are more possible for you than you’ve been believing.
My mission in this podcast is to help you find the freedom to become who you want.

I’m a former international tax lawyer and senior partner with Ernst & Young. I left the law in 2014 to learn how to paint. After a couple years painting and selling my work, I became passionate about helping other people who feel stuck in their careers and want to feel more personally fulfilled, invigorated and soul connected. I now spend my time painting, coaching and creating live events at the George Russell Academy of Creative Expansion in beautiful Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada.
