How to Think Your Future into Existence | UA10

How to Think Your Future into Existence | UA10

Learn how to start making the future you want to create happen now. In this week’s episode, I talk about one of the most powerful tools I know. This is an episode you won’t want to miss!

There’s a mindset and science behind the process of thinking yourself into the person you want to become.

When we imagine ourselves in a desired future, our brains can’t distinguish between the imaginary and the real. We start acting as if we were already that person now. This allows us to start navigating our lives in the same way our desired future self would do. When we do that, we make that future happen.

If you’re thinking, “Well that’s all fine and good, but I’m not an imaginative person and I don’t think I can imagine the future.”, you’re not giving yourself credit. If you’ve ever worried about something that might happen, it’s evidence that you so have the capacity to imagine future events - scary versions of the future! If you can do that, it’s equally possible for you to imagine the future you want to happen.

In the podcast I refer to Dr. David Hamilton’s discussion of the piano note study. You can read his discussion by clicking on the link here:
