About the Host:

When we are inspired by our own thoughts, we feel a true sense of joy, creativity and the energy of infinite potential or possibilities that are available to us. Then someone needs a snack and the thoughts gone.  I am here to say YOU matter. My name is Carrrie Lecuyer, I am an empowerment coach for moms with a feeling that there is more on their hearts and I want to help you reconnect and re-align with your souls purpose and passion and remain a great MOM.

As a mom of two little boys who love mud, I have visions, goals, ideas and thoughts. Sometimes they only lasted for seconds, and the rest of the day I spend cleaning up after my kids.

Over the past 20 years, I spent 15 years in a fast paced career development and personal development environment. I have completed 26 half marathons, crossed the finished line at Ironman Canada, and became a mom.  It has been the most amazing journey with so many lessons. I know for a fact that the moment I made a decision, clarity in all directions appeared.

I am here to help you connect with what lights you up, through 1:1 coaching.

Hello, my friends and welcome. You're listening to soul inspired decisions, a podcast for ordinary moms living extraordinary lives. My intention with this podcast is to teach, motivate and inspire by sharing stories, tools and strategies to help you unlock your greatest fears, annoying habits and old stories and make a move towards the things that have been on your heart. If you have been a little lost, or in a funk, and want to reconnect with your purpose, your passion and feel empowered again, then this is the best place for you to be hanging out. My name is Carrie Lecuyer. And I'm an ordinary mom making extraordinary decisions. This is me putting one foot in front of the other, moving towards my next goal, and hoping to inspire you along the way. Let's get started.

Carrie Lecuyer:

Hello, welcome back to soul inspired decisions. How are you all doing today? How are you feeling today? Let's take a deep breath in and let it out. Let's drop our shoulders and smile, instantly feeling lighter, and enjoying and lean into what I'm about to ask you what, which is what are you wanting to create in your life? What could be different? What could be better? What would bring you more joy. And is my pleasure to be here and talk to you about something I love which is creating your magical life of start creating your magical life today by a few simple steps that I have. But first I want to talk about connection. And as my intention to bring you some gentle perspectives, maybe some shifts that can really help you open your eyes to new ways of being new possibilities, new opportunities. And who doesn't want that by just listening somebody else, you're opening yourself to what else is out there. And that's what my client flub is a different perspective that they hadn't thought about. So today, I want to talk to you about the fact that life is not a dress rehearsal. And we are so fortunate to be here with each other. I'm so fortunate to be here with you right now listening, have you listened to me and share this space. And as we reflect on past experiences in our life, we understand how fast time goes by quickly, very quickly. As children time never went fast enough. Remember those summers that would drag on and we couldn't wait to get back to school and why were the days so long. In a blink of an eye, we're an adult, wishing we could be children. Again, we're always telling our kids be in the moment, be happy to be a kid you have so much freedom and joy and don't wish to grant grow up so fast. Enjoy being little life. For us when we were little, it was really quite magical for so many of us. And I love to experience life, looking at my boys faces and watching them discover and explore and navigate. And my hope for them is to live and be children and curious and fun. And of course, they're going to stress me out with all the crazy things that boys do or kids do. But life is so short and has so many twists and turns and can get really hard for us which each and every one of us which we all know we've all had some things or things or experiences in life that have made us who we are today. But those are experiences are what have developed the knowledge we know, which can also help develop us to be able to move forward with what we want more out or don't want more of those my boys are about turned five and sevens this spring. They want to do more and more. And I tried to allow them to go for it and try it and do it and and you guide them and try to teach them that they really don't want to hear it already. But just to know that it's possible for them to have an idea and move towards what they want. Giving them instruction and ideas to do it better or safely the next time and that's why I'm here is to really help you step into all the things you really want and desire but may not know how to move forward towards them. My point here is to remind you that life for each and every one of us was so free and magical those little ones and it still can be free and magical in In an adult way,

Carrie Lecuyer:

as we reflect on life and all his challenges, we do wonder where the magic is, but it's right in front of us, we just have to see it, we have to desired enough to make a move forward. And things will start to change and shift for you. mindset will change, circumstances will change, ideas will change, your happiness will change. So we'll walk you through a couple of things to help you help remind you of where you can find the magic in yourself. And the first thing off is where that magic goes really quickly as an adult, is the greatest thief of joy, which is comparison. And even though it's, you know, we may say we don't compare, but we all compare, it's our nature. And the reason we tend to compare ourselves to others, and again, it is the thief of joy, is that it's just happens, right? Your new neighbor may earn more money than you, your sister has a great business or side hustle, your brother, brothers may have taken some time to go to college and have a degree or something that you've always dreamed of, but you took a different path. Maybe they have competed in a race your siblings have competed in a race or your parents or your friends have a race that you've always dreamed up, but never took the time to do. And now you've just got all sorts of excuses and body injuries and things that are happening with you. Maybe your friend landed a really great job, maybe that she has less education than you. Maybe your friend doesn't have to work and can do all the things. Whatever creates jealousy in your life is a simple reminder, a gentle reminder, that is not you feeling angry or anger towards them. What sometimes we confuse that is we are judging. And it's just a reminder that we want more for ourselves and our family to step back and ask yourself, Why am I feeling this way towards them? And you'll get your answer. For instance, one of your girlfriends recently got engaged, it's because maybe you want to be engaged. Your restaurant went on a fabulous honeymoon habeas because you desire that honeymoon that you never went on. Your friend got pregnant, the neighbor got pregnant, maybe it's because you want to be pregnant. spending your time being jealous of other people's successes will only create blocks in your own life will create less flow of your own energy and vibration in your own life. And the sooner you recognize where you're blocking, in where you're judging and where you're criticizing, you will open up a whole new world possibilities. So it's important to remember to release resistance to what you don't want in invite in what you do want, then we can start showing up with new clarity and a sense of purpose. That's exciting that makes you want to continue listening continue on what it is, I might have to say next. Right? It's, we anticipate the excitement of wanting more, it's actually possible I might be able to accomplish this. We start showing up differently. This is your last day on earth. This is another perspective to look on. Where your magic has gone is this was the last day of Earth for you and you knew it. If your head hit the pillow tonight, and you're not going to wake up tomorrow, what would you do differently today? Another way to think about it is if you're 90 years old and sitting in the chair in your room by yourself reflecting on your life, what is the thing that you wish you would have done that you never took the chance to do? Because of reasons A, B, C and D. And now that you look back at 90 years old, the poor shooters would have done it anyway. These are questions we can ask ourselves when we are really trying to commit something. These are questions my husband and I have asked ourselves to move forward. In the moment you get clarity. And as soon as you have clarity, you might move forward. You never know when our number is up. A car accident a heart attack, a stroke, a diagnosis Gnosis with an illness, something that happens that changes your life forever. It happens all the time. And as we get older, it's around us more and more. It's important to not waste any more time because the past is gone. The things you wish you had done. On

Carrie Lecuyer:

the wish you things you took action on, but never have is gone. But you can start today, you can start with a moment today the desire that I always wanted this, I know I want this, I feel that I need to do this. That's from your soul. You are born with a purpose. Many of you are moms. And maybe you're a little detour right now. But if that nudge is in you, it's meant for you. And how you navigate it is just by visioning the thing that you still want, the thing you still desire, it doesn't mean that your marriage is bad, or you have bad relationships with your family, or that you don't want them or love them anymore. It has nothing to do with that part of your family. It has everything to do with you desiring more and that has never disappeared. And you should honor that and feel worthy of that. Because it will help you be a better mom, a better wife, a better partner. It's important to not waste any more time because the past is gone. And we can get sad in our thoughts. I just lost my grandpa, he was 91. And I was so proud that I got to be there and see and understand that the life that he and my grandma shared was so fulfilling with so many ups and downs, but each of them took chances and went after things that they'd never thought they had through kids with kids. After the kids have left their homes with grandkids, and great grandkids, they made choices, they move forward. And now, life changes for them. And we say goodbye, hoping and knowing that we did all that we could do to live our best life. We have talents, we have gifts, we have ideas, you have to show up for them. You know that you can shine a light on the world. And if you know you can you well. The best way that your heart can move forward is to just say yes. Value the time we have here. We value, the lessons and the dedication that you're showing your family and your children. Let them see you rise because that will help them rise. That's what you want to teach them that's what you want to show them living your best life. The invitation for you is to rise up my friend. Yes you if you're feeling motivated, if you're feeling inspired in this moment, it's meant for you. Stop feeling sorry for yourself. Stop the excuses, stop the victimizing stop the comparison. Stop the judging. Just start living today. Rise up, make your life magical. It's not anybody else's life. It's your like, do whatever it takes start. Ask for help. Do the things start Googling. Make a commitment, find a mentor, find a coach, find a therapist, whatever it is you need to do. Find the course find the teacher. Stop doing the things that don't light you up. Stop doing the things that you dread. Do the things that make you feel good. Do the things that make you feel inspired. be around the people that make you feel good and want to help you move you towards your dreams. Those things will raise your vibration those things will raise your energy set intentions each day. Even if they're small, even if they're just saying getting up in the morning and saying thank you for my life. That is a step. A confused mind does nothing. Allow yourself to dream. Allow yourself to create a vision. Create a big idea. It doesn't mean you have to want when everybody else wants. You can create your own dreams on your own terms on your own timeline. Here with me right now, there is no judgment. And it's space for you to get very clear on what you want. If you are stuck, if you are trapped. If you can't identify anything right now, just otter that Where are you right now? Are you feeling lost? Are you feeling lonely? Are you feeling unfulfilled? Again, not as a mom not as well and maybe you are maybe that's what you want to focus on and work on. But if there's something you're drawn towards building creating visioning,

Carrie Lecuyer:

and do it, be grateful for what you have achieved already, and approach the rest of today. And tomorrow, and show up in the world a little more soulful, show up with a little more purpose. Show up with the intention that you are moving towards the thing that you really want attach yourself to a new idea. The experiences of happiness and sadness are part of our journey. And if we get stuck in the sadness, we get stuck in patterns and thoughts that do not serve us. And we feel so unfulfilled over time. And then we realize that our children have left our home, living their own life, and I still don't know who I am. My husband left I don't know who I am. My kids don't speak to me. I don't know who I am. I have no more family left. I don't know who I am. Don't let that be you. Find the thing that you love. And take them on the journey with you. Inspire them, show them that it's possible, because you're creating mentorship for them, inspiration for them. So where are you today? Where do you want to find more match. I invite you. I invite you today to take 10 minutes even after this even if five, five minutes, maybe baby's waking waking up. Maybe you need to go get the kids quickly from school here. So just take time before you pick them up. Or before you grab them out of the crib. Take some time and allow yourself to dream. Dream of the job. Dream of the money dream of the relationship. The house you want to build the batik you want to have the online business you're wanting to create the holiday you hope to go on or wish to go on not hope hopes not a good we're sorry for that. A holiday you want to create or go on the book, you want to write the weight, you want to lose the health you want to gain the dream you want to have for your retirement. Allow yourself those feelings. get really specific feel them, write them down, typed on your phone, save it for later. Say it out loud. If you're by yourself, just say out loud right now what you would like, I want more money. I want more clients, I want more freedom. How would it look like to you? Go wild? Go back. Use your unlimited imagination. And just for a few minutes, be a child creating the magic of your own worlds. That's before you. I know you're I know, you're envisioning something. I listen to podcast for the same reason to be inspired. And when I'm given the chance and the time to think in that moment I do because I probably won't come back. But if it's really important, I will. So breathe in and out. Drop your shoulders and smile. Be in the moment of joy and feel your vision. It's yours. It's waiting for you. What do you want? How do you want to feel and feel it? Envision yourself touching it, say it out loud, I'm worthy of my dreams, I'm worthy of more. And let it go. And carry on with your day. The only thing you need to do next is say thank you say thank you to everything you think or feel or see related to that vision you've created in your mind that you are creating awareness that is possible. And every time you align with a thought, a vision, a word that you creating that you are opening up the flow, you're opening up energy, and that's where the magical momentum starts. It's your life that you're creating. With everybody that's involved. It doesn't have to be them or you. It can be all of you. And that's the magic. As always, I invite you to share your thoughts wins ideas and Aha. Almost hearing from you and I hope this helps you create a vision. Thank you for being here
