EP48-Overcoming Thinking Traps in Parenting

EP48-Overcoming Thinking Traps in Parenting

If you are like most parents, there comes a time or two when you feel as though you are caught in the middle of a hurricane. Often times, when this occurs, we feel stressed and burnt- out. Not only does our body respond negatively in this state, but so do our thoughts.

In this episode, we discuss thinking traps with our guest Rabia Karmali. We discourse on what thinking traps are, how to recognize them, challenge them and how to overcome them.

Be sure to listen for:

  • How thinking traps affect our behavior
  • The common thinking traps in parenting
  • How to know we are in a thinking trap
  • How this affects our children
  • Ways in which we can overcome thinking traps
