More about Steve aka VOID

Hailing from Toronto, Canada, I have been a self-taught Guitar Player for over 20 years, a professional touring musician for 10, and a guitar coach for over 15.

I’ve had the rare opportunity to tour the world opening for bands such as KISS, Hinder, and Finger Eleven as well as get hired to perform live with my childhood heroes Our Lady Peace in front of 60,000 screaming fans...

In 2013, after putting my budding music career & dreams of Rockstardom on hold to become my father’s primary caregiver, I wrote this on the back of my guitar:

“I BELIEVE I CAN INSPIRE + HEAL WITH MY GUITAR.”

Within five years, I have helped over 20,000 Beginner & Struggling Guitarists around the world quickly play their favourite songs on guitar, while using proceeds to create new programs for Cancer patients and their caregivers in honour of my late father Tony Mastroianni.

100% of the proceeds from this book (PRACTICE LESS, PLAY MORE!) are being used for the same purpose through my fundraising initiative VØID Cancer.

I have a deep-seated passion for helping people reach their true potential on guitar and become the best version of themselves.

So what’s in it for you?

Put simply, I have the unique perspective of being both a guitar coach and a touring guitarist, so I get to share with you all the guitar techniques that you’ll actually use in the

REAL WORLD without any fluff...

As well as the ability to transfer my knowledge to you in a simple way that you can easily understand.

My specialty is helping you create new habits & routines in your life and making the complex world of guitar simple, so you can make steady progress on your guitar even in the most challenging of circumstances.

I truly care about your success and I highly value the personal connection shared between student & coach because I strongly believe it plays a major role in you making

Anyone who knows me will agree.

So on that note, if you have a few minutes to spare and you want to know more about me, please head over to VoidCancer.com where you’ll find a short video with a more detailed story about me and my mission.

It’s only about 5 minutes and I urge everyone I teach to watch it. And if you would like to share YOUR story with me, please send me a message at support@rockstarmind.com.
