Elizabeth "Liz" Bauer has been fighting for disability rights on the ground from the very beginning. Liz is a legal advocate for disability rights nationally and internationally starting the 1980s. She has consulted in the United States and internationally on the development of public policy, services, human rights, and support for people with disabilities. She has testified before Congress and the Michigan Legislature and assisted in the development of legislation and public policy related to people with disabilities. She continues to be maverick fighting for a more inclusive world.
