She is so full of wisdom, I had to do a TWO Part Series with Rachel Kodanaz, author of “Living with Loss One Day at a Time”.  This week, Rachel joins us to talk about embracing life’s challenges. Overcoming her own adversity of being widowed at 31 years old with a 2-year-old daughter, Rachel shares her down to earth, insightful, and practical advice for living with loss. As a motivational speaker, author, grief consultant, and facilitator, Rachel tells us what can be helpful. In Part Two, we will talk about clearing out physical objects. You will want to hear it all! 


  1. Humans simply need to be felt and understood. They don’t want or need to be fixed. Just listen.
  2. We can’t change what happens to us so we have to figure out what we can do to go forward. How? Rachel gives 365 days of tips to help.
  3. Don’t ask. Just do (for the person).
