Someone’s we read something that isn’t immediately relevant to us, this has been a great way to visit (and revisit) a lot of concepts quickly.

This is one of my favorite podcasts right now and I’m loving the addition of the solo episodes too - the more the merrier. While my industry is different as a solopreneur in the food delivery space, it’s super helpful to hear how both Alex and Jesse think through problems and brainstorm ideas for existing businesses and new business concepts. As a Gen-Xer who left a large corporation after 23 to be employee #4 in a start up … this podcast has not only helped me get up to speed in working in a start up, but has also challenged my way of thinking and helped me develop my thought processes. Alex’s insights, honesty, and transparency really make this program authentic and valuable. He thinks about the content, and delivers. Jesse is a great addition to the team, as his perspective and successes really compliment Alex. Keep up the good work.

Always entertaining and I take a little tidbit every week! If you want to learn about a wide range of topics you can adapt to any type of business this is the podcast. We’re testing out a product idea on Kickstarter in the next couple months and would have never thought about using that platform before!

While I am not an entrepreneur, I still get a lot out of the conversations and the overall business insight discussed. I also love the free flowing model of this podcast and the conversations. Every time I feel like I have a better understanding of what I always felt was a scary and complex business world that wasn't for me, but whether the topic is Ethereum,How to Advance Your Career, a big industry acquisition or how to be more productive, Alex and Jesse’s frank, open, honest and often vulnerable insights set the stage perfectly to help you understand the things that make business work. If you want to build your confidence in being able to think and speak at the level that is going to move your career and life forward, you can't afford to miss an episode.

I love how detailed and easy to understand this podcast is. They share practical advice for real life work situations. More than anything the conversation is authentic.

Been listening to Jesse on Business Breakdowns and always enjoyed Morning Brew as well from Alex. This has been a fun team up to listen to them not just talk through other companies like they usually would but some of the real challenges they faced before or continue to tackle day to day with there new ventures. Feel like they will keep growing to challenge some of the other great ones in the podcast space!

Love listening to these crazy ambitious guys. They tell stories and conduct interviews that are applicable to business at ALL stages AND…. to life in general. I always walk away inspired or having learned something. Regardless of their independent successes they remain humble and relatable. So grateful for their guidance. I wish they could speak at every high school in the United States lol

I’ve been following Alex and Jesse separately, love what they’ve been doing in the email newsletter space (Alex) and Ad-tech (Jesse) for years. So finding this podcast and listening to their insights and raw take has been awesome and very relatable. They both get vulnerable and talk about feels and emotions, not just business, media, or tech. Truly refreshing. Keep it up!

Alex and Jesse provide awesome insights and perspectives from their experiences as successful startup founders. They do a good job sharing the good, the bad and the ugly, at a time when Start-Up founding has been most glamorized. This is a great resource for people who have started their own businesses, for those that want to work with startups, and for those that want to apply entrepreneurial skills to their role for career growth/enhancement. Definitely go back and listen to old Founders Journal episodes too.

Even after 25 years in business, we learn something new with each episode. Keep ‘em coming!
