Loved the interview and being an emigrant myself some points are common to me!!I was just lucky to be white, otherwise not sure how strong I would be! Since when people hear the accent they do not take you serious, but usually discrimination comes from people less educated! Beautiful interview and nice to hear how kind Lynn was! Great interview podcast. Great guests, love the conversations and your take on things. I tend to agree often with you and you’re very informed obvi and know the dangerous fight we are in to hold onto our democracy. We are in for a generational fight for a more perfect union and true equality, objective truth, love, compassion, empathy and justice will prevail. Without those, there wouldn’t be the United States as most of us know and love her. 🇺🇸

I love (in a masochistic way) listening to Marc vs a guest, where he wants to deep dive some falling out they allegedly had. It’s the best. (I also love the pods where he and the guest have the same mind/ love each other.) Thanks, Hari, for hanging in there! Whew.

Are you kidding me?? That almost brought me to tears. Horses was one of the first records I bought in the early 90s. I’ve loved that woman since I was a lost punk-gothy teenager (now I’m a lost punky 45 yr old but who’s asking?) Point is that interview slayed. Also, Marc with a “c”... don’t see that often. My estranged bio-dad spells it that way. Also also, Marc with a “c”; try spatchcocking your turkey next time. Dry brine and rub it with kosher salt and herbs and leave it uncovered in the fridge overnight. New techniques I discovered and tweaked a little last year, and the results were surprisingly delicious. I’ve tried it on a few chickens since and now it’s the only way to go. The interviews you have done have been excellent lately. I really enjoy listening to your conversations with a lot of the guests you’ve had on. The guests who don’t do a lot of interviews and podcasts have been enjoyable as well such as your interviews with Michael K Williams from the wire, Stanley Tucci, Chris Cooper, Sam Neil, tim Allen but I think he did a lot of appearances on Jay Leno when he was hosting the tonight show cause they are great friends and he does other appearances but a great interview with a great sitcom star and stand up comic. Keep up the good work Marc and keep getting great guests and rare guests who almost never do interviews. Those fit me are a rare treat but all your interviews that I’m interested I. Hearing have been good.

I listen to his podcast after everyone’s asleep and it feels like I’m relating with a good friend. Please don’t ever stop your podcast! I look forward to every episode. I align with Marc politically and I feel the same way as him. It’s nice to hear someone just lay it all out there.

Mark’s best interview ever!

Been a fan awhile but the Eddie Murphy interview was a revelation. Thanks to you both for letting us listen in on your conversation.

HiI was listening to Jake and he mentions how an audience can not / will not really know an actor from roles they play and I agree. But something comes through, there is a reason why I am drawn to Heath Ledger as opposed to another actor. It has nothing to do with the roles he chose to play but rather his energy/style/effort he brought to each role he took on. And so while I did not know him, his light shines through and in this way someone in the audience comes to appreciate the actor rather than the character in the movie.

I always thought this guy was a hack due to his Disney movies, and political views. Thanks for showing me another side of this guy.

My mom grew up with Tim Allen in Denver, she always spoke so highly of him and how funny he was even as a kid. She followed his career, so I grew up watching Home Improvement, The Santa Claus- really anything he did. His older brothers even attended my moms funeral and could not have been nicer! I knew a lot about his life, but NOT like he tells it in this interview. Marc clearly made him feel incredibly comfortable with similar pasts and relatability. This was an awesome look into what Tim is like as a man, his views, and how he’s been misunderstood at times. Worth the listen!!

I used to listen to the beginning monologue and even sit through his ads so that he can get paid (if you fast forward an ad they won’t get the 1 paid credit from you sitting through it). Now I’m forwarding through the beginning all together because of the political rants. So I’ll go back to listening through first 12-15 min, ads included once the rants subside. It’s like the GreenPeace people thinking they are changing hearts and minds outside of Trader Joe’s in Santa Monica, when in reality you’re already there, and have been there for some time. Go petition outside a sawmill or a meat packing plant if you’re trying to expand some minds... start a political podcast Marc if that’s you’re aim. You get 1 star but I’m giving it 5 because “505 por vida” and I can’t do that to a homeboy.

Hey Marc, great, great podcast. Love listening to your podcast while walking around aimlessly during the quarantine. Anything to get me through this period. Our curfew here in Rethymnon Crete is at 6pm so I try to do as much walking as I can. Your honesty and truth are so inspiring.
