Love love love
Thank you for keeping us up on all things crime. Also curse away…these people are human garbage and you need a way to release the outrage. I get as fired up as you do!

I really love the reporting that is done on the show, it's one of my go to podcasts to get in-depth perspectives on what's going on on the world. One thing about the most recent podcast regarding the conflict over Taiwan: it was said that there are two parties fighting over Taiwan, when theres a third-party to consider: the original people who were living in Taiwan before the Civil War between the communist and the nationalist parties. In my opinion, it's almost the same as saying that there are just two parties in America fighting for who it belongs to, but ignoring the fact that the Native Americans were already there in the beginning. Admittedly, I'm not versed in Taiwanese history as much as the people who are reporting, but I do want to give my opinion as a Taiwanese-American, and understanding of its history as my family and community has lived it and shared it. Thank you again for reporting on this. I appreciate your hard work on the show!
thank you

Goodwill? Israel is a country of cold blooded killers. The Israelis have always historically treated the Palestinians terribly. Israel is looking to completely eliminate the entire Palestinian culture, the world is witnessing nothing short of genocide. So, too, Israel has an army, Air Force, the Gospel AI weaponry, nuclear weapons and other high tech weapons, whilst the Palestinians have none of these. We are watching a terrible overreaction to the original Hamas bombing, Israel is happy to get a chance to destroy the Palestinian people. This is not really about eliminating the Hamas military, but to eliminate ‘ALL’ of the Palestinians culture. The US has no business stepping into this conflict, we need to STOP focusing exclusively on Israel, either give to both sides or no one at all. The US needs to get out of the Middle East!

The climate episode was supported by BP. Seriously… you need better sponsors.
Great journalism
It’s a terrific podcast and I’ve shared many episodes with friends and family. It’s compelling and informative and engaging journalism at its finest.
Happy Martine is back!
This is a quality podcast. They ask the difficult questions more often than NYT.
Great stories, well told
Martine and Elahe are outstanding hosts who bring a broad array of interesting news and stories to life.
Panda diplomacy episode was well-done 🐼
The reporting was informative + the music was touching and emotionally on-point
Lovely voices
This is a thoughtful show that explores many current topics. The hosts have lovely voices. I hope they aren’t discouraged by all the negative personal comments about them in these reviews.
Maurice Bishop, and others
Dear Martini P. Thank you for your report! It is interesting and brings sadness to Lear more about the subject. For your information at that time the US participation on repression of central and South American was very extensive , you probably can get more information about it from reliable source ; my point to comment about your report is to confirm that making people “ despair “ was a distinct characteristic of the participation of the US interfering on the political and economic affairs of this country’s ; I’m sure you will find more information on the subject ; because it was recently on the news “ that the US had to return much of this information to Argentina , not just the information but also some planes that were used to dump bodies on the ocean (after this peoples where disappeared) Not just in your parents country but many others in South America. Thank you for thr report and your consideration. M from Argentina.

I consider Post Reports a paid premium of my WP subscription. I have deleted without listening to recent podcasts underwritten by Exxon-Mobile. The Climate Crisis is the most urgent issue the planet faces, and its most important story. WP and any reputable news organization should be digging deeply into oil companies' profiteering and looming omnicidal atrocities to inform readers about consequences, costs, liabilities, and possible solutions, not taking money that promotes absurd greenwashing by the corporations overwhelmingly and knowingly responsible. An insane journalistic conflict and lapse in ethics that you should remember when your credibility is lumped-in with inveterate liars and fearmongers like Fox, Sinclair, and their gross ilk. Previous Review | Martine Powers is a flawless presenter. Obviously cable news hosts have long been unwatchable, with their canned mannerisms and phony cadences. Podcasts tend to be much better, more natural, but can go too far, with speakers casually hobbling every other thought, needlessly qualifying and un-saying simple declarative statements with incessant "sortofs," "kindofs," and "likes." This is an annoying enough affectation on an entertainment podcast, but for reporters? Actual examples include "sortof, rape" and "kindof, genocide." Drives me crazy. Martine, however, guides each story impeccably, with genuine warmth and humanity as well as expert elocution. Thank you for all the vital information, beautifully conveyed.

This episode like many was inviting the audience to think from outside your comfort zone just as the best teachers do.
Now quick do the hidden tolls of gas cars next
What in the name of propaganda was the electric car episode about
The sinead road trip episode
Am sobbing as I listening to it. Thank you for making this. So heartbreaking and lovingly made and beautiful.
Great overall, but could be better timing
My routine is typically news in the morning, and all of my other favorites like the Daily are ready to go first thing. They do an overall better job of getting breaking news in as well, even if it happened later the previous day. Because WP doesn’t come out until the afternoon, the subject matter in more timely news is usually older than what everyone else already did that morning.
United States v. Donald Trump
Terrific episode. I hardly ever miss a “Post Reports” podcast. Keep going back to replay particular bits of detail that are super relevant and/or interesting. Regards Janet, of Sydney, Australia, age 79. PS please ask Devlin Barrett to allow someone to write him up on Wikipedia. I love to know the background of some especially qualified commentators. There are three lines of type about him on the Washington Post web site, to which I subscribe. But I want more!!! And I’m not much good at googling, so wikipedia is great for me.
Give this podcast a chance
I love the Post Reports as a follow up to the seven and these are good news stories.

Well thought out journalism, appreciated
Great mix of stories
They do a great job mixing hard news with pop culture or just practical advice. The hosts are personable and ask great questions. Love it!
Glad I discovered
Appreciate the range of stories. The hosts sound like people. Keep up the smart work. Came late to the show but now in my regular rotation.
