I’ve listened to Don and JJ from the beginning and look forward to it every week. When I’m caught up, I sometimes listen again. His conversations are smart, the topics are relevant, and his overall pragmatic tone is refreshing.I was shocked to see *only* a 4.5 rating until I read the reviews. He and JJ chit chat before the interview, he has broadened the scope of the topics beyond the StoryBrand philosophy, and he talks politics. While it may turn some people off, it’s incredibly valuable information and adds some humanity to the podcast.Keep up the good work from a StoryBrand follower, online course customer, and overall fan. I hope that someday I’ll be able to offer you the same value in return.-Nick

Someone asked me the other day what I look for in a podcast. So, what makes me listen or not listen- or unsubscribe. The obvious answer might be that the casters know what they’re talking about. But what a no-brainer that is. For me it’s about energy! JJ and Don have absolutely, completely spoiled me! I have no tolerance for a podcast with speakers with low energy! As co-hosts, their communication is impeccable and they are always on Fire about their topic. And that’s how every single story brand podcast begins! They just make me happy when I turn their little voices in my speakers! And it continues with alway exciting interviews that I always learn from. I have purchased many books from authors interviewed on Story Brand. Also appreciate the Christian world view. I am a forever fan and Yes! I would vote for Don if he ran for president 😀

Incredibly helpful, practical and insightful. However, I would like to see Don ask his guests their enneagram number so I can learn from people who think like me.

Always helpful. Love the interaction of Don and JJ. I like the broad variety of guests and topics. Don has a gift for explaining. I would enjoy episodes of just Don unraveling ideas and topics.

Don and JJ dispense the most practical and actionable business advice in the marketplace today. Consistent, active listening will help you save money and put a rocket on your revenue. Better than an MBA by far.

I only started listening recently, but this is in my top 2 go to podcasts when I’m in the car. Love the content, love the banter. Now I’m figuring out how I can get to Nashville for a love workshop! In the meantime, I’m reading the book and am already clarifying my story. I’ve also just finished writing my first book and loved the hero journey so much that I rejigged my structure to make sure i was following it! Thanks Donald & JP, big fan!

Donald Miller and Dr. JJ Peterson do an excellent job distilling the StoryBrand framework. The guests that are on each show are phenomenal. I feel like I’m getting my MBA from listening and applying.

So much value in this podcast. Every episode is better than the last. I often go back to re-listen to older episodes to hear nuggets of wisdom that I missed the first time. Story sells and this podcast will help you see your story and hone in on your individual magic!

Enjoying the podcast..totally unsolicited but someone please tell Don to stop interrupting guests and answering his own questions...OR maybe don’t have guests, Don is intelligent and has lots of value to add himself.

The episode with Sean Webb was outstanding. Anyone who wants to understand emotional reactions to things can get a better understanding. It was helpful to hear why certain things trigger various responses. Once you understand then you can act. Many people want to be better but don’t have tools to get there. This interview can get you started. Good stuff!

Have listened since the beginning and have learned so much over the years. Couple of my favorite things are the end of the year best of which does highlights from selected shows. It has reminded me to go back and re-listen to an episode that I like. I also love interaction between Don and JJ. You can tell they have such passion for what they do and there not boring and stuffy. Thanks for what you do.

Donald Miller is a dang genius. The way that he’s able to take very basic and common thoughts and apply them to business, marketing, etc. is amazing. His ability to provide tangible things for business owners to implement is incredible. He’s completely changed the way I approach every aspect of my business.
