Lex, I respect and appreciate your views that is partly why I enjoy listening to you also your are a great interviewer. The statement you made after your podcast was very well said. I think anyone who try’s to box you into being on the red or blue side truly doesn’t understand you. I’ve have learned so much about people and life from your long form interviews. I think it would be great if everyone presidential candidate was interviewed by you. You are truly a great interviewer. It’s refreshing to have someone with out a motive of tarring apart a person or promoting them do a interview. I really hope you get to interview more world leaders. I think you are the best person to provide us with real content and insight from a place of compassion and making the world a better place. And to the people who say your right wing they are stuck in a place where they can’t see past their own narrow views. The world would be a better place if we all challenged our own views and opinions about politics and life. And try to learn from those we disagree with. Thank you for being brave enough to do interviews that are challenging and will bring you controversy.

Curious, accommodating, and compassionate. Lex is easy to love. Just ask Joe Rogan, Michael Malice, Elon Musk, Eric Weinstein, Jordan Peterson, anyone. Seeing him and Malice together is a real treat.

Lex is a great guide through many diverse topics.

You should all be ashamed of yourselves, perched like birds on a wire, comfortably chirping out shallow, surface-level critiques. The reason you’re able to make these criticisms is because he’s out there actually trying to create something of value for others. I hope you’re doing the same. Lex uses a personable, almost gonzo-like interview style, where he navigates conversations with divisive figures in a way that’s thoughtful and open. While he could push back more, it’s not his role to impose judgments—it’s up to the listener to make up their own mind. His approach lets us explore the minds of others without forcing conclusions.

Like many good things, Lex is an acquired taste. His style and presentation are unlike anything I’ve heard before, and I can see why some people don’t love it. I like that he doesn’t impose his agenda or views on his guests, rather he just tees up an interesting question and lets them roll. Pretty cool. I just listened to the Vejas Liulevicius, which was fascinating! It’s so great to listen to someone who a) really knows his topic, and b) knows how to speak about it in a coherent manner.

Love how Lex brings on people with different specialities. I always wanted to improve my general knowledge about fields outside my expertise and finding this podcast has tremendously helped with that. Thank you Lex.

Hello! Thank you for having Trump on and not giving in to The mainstream media and looking into things yourself. We need to talk to each and not feel so threatened. I’m a republican and I can’t talk to people because they won’t sit down and have a reasonable conversation. I hope to try the news organization that you suggested. I’m looking for facts and I can make up my own mind. I don’t need the media to do it for me.

Lex is a master of highly accessible deep-dives delving into a range of complex topics. He effortlessly manages to blend and balance tech, philosophy, the future, AI/ML, and the human condition. And yes, occasionally politics. He is intelligent and well-spoken. He is knowledgeable and his curiosity and thirst for knowledge shine through each episode. With a placid, calming demeanor and universal respect for guests, many discussions turn introspective and “real”. Check out the show if you enjoy picking apart cutting-edge tech while pondering the meaning of life. As for the title of my review. I’m disheartened by the number of reviewers airing personal grievances against Trump, thinly disguised behind grossly unfounded criticism against Lex Fridman. Consider the amount of time spent each day that you allow Trump, Biden, Kamala, whoever, to seep into your thoughts, fears, hopes, worries, and actions. C’mon, you are better than that! Redirect the time into anything constructive. Start a new hobby. Help a neighbor. Decide to be the agent of change for good instead of waiting on someone else to do it. It definitely took me too long to figure it out and let go. And for goodness sake, stop ripping poor Lex a new one 😅🤣

I just love this podcast. Lex is respectful and I really get to know the guests due to the long interview style with the right questions asked.

After reading other reviews, I've noticed that some people who dislike this podcast seem to do so because they can't find the drama they're looking for. Personally, I appreciate the diverse perspectives in this podcast, even if some are more useful than others. I find it to be a peaceful and insightful listen for those who have patience and genuinely seek knowledge from the human experience. Thank you, Lex.

Lex has the right questions for the right guest. Unlike Joe Rogan, Lex Fridman does ask the correct questions and that makes the podcast interesting. Also, it helps to remember that Lex Fridman’s guests are amazing

I recently listened to the podcast episode featuring Cenk Uygur. While I don’t agree with Lex’s political perspective and find some of his views to lean toward misogyny, I do appreciate his ability to host guests he seemingly disagrees with and still give them the space to express themselves. One thing I value is that, despite my reservations, Lex remains fairly neutral in his interviews, and it’s often hard to pinpoint his own views, which allows for a more open and balanced conversation.

Why don’t people talk anymore? How boring it must be to confine your thinking to just one side or another? I don’t have to agree with someone to appreciate learning more about their thought process and gaining their insights into life. Over, and have no clue 68 years there have been plenty of times I have been influenced by people I never expected to impact me. I don’t trust the youth today. They are so shut out to ideas that do not conform to their politics or social stands. It is amazing they can be so strident and ignorant at the same time and have no clue about how dangerously stupid they are.

Don‘t be surprised if an episode here is longer than 3 hours. The record #348 is almost 9(!) hours… It started as a podcast on topics related to AI, but then developed into a much broader set of topics, including but not restricted to religion, politics, various science topics, and martial arts. Lex gets important people to talk with him: Elon Musk, Eric Schmidt, Benjamin Netanyahu, Garry Kasparov, Bjarne Stroustrup, and many more; scientists, politicians, entrepreneurs. Lex succeeds in asking deep and often unexpected questions, from seemingly unrelated angles, but still enlightening the listeners. Pick your episodes, binging 400+ loooong episodes is simply too much. But highly recommended!
