I typically avoid listening to podcasts that exceed an hour in length. There are two exceptions though. And this particular one is among them.

Enlightening and Heart-Softening
I just listened to the “Jan 17: #352 - Omar Suleiman: Islam” episode and I am amazed at the eloquence, dignity, and tranquility with which both Lex and Omar conducted this interview. I could have listened to another 3 hours of this, it was that good. New subscriber and fan for sure!

Great choice of interviews
I have a big gripe with Zuckerberg, i report disgusting racist comments to FB and am told that they don't breach community standards. Other companies handle this swiftly. Shame!

Really good stuff
Spreading love is a noble endeavor. Listening to Lex often motivates me to be better and do better. I appreciate that. It’s valuable.
I like no ads in the middle. From Judo to hostage negotiation, really interesting.
I listened to over 50 episodes before writing a review. Ignore the one star bots.

Fascinating discussions on fascinating topics
Lex has redefined long form podcast conversations and interviewing great minds. What seem like normal conversations push you into deep thought sometimes, forcing you to take a break from just listening for a bit. He makes no value judgments and is truly interested in digging out what is on the minds of his guests.

Brilliant Host and Guests
This is the best podcast, ever. Can’t believe it’s free. It covers so many interesting topics from many perspectives. This podcast gives me a few hours before sleep to focus on just one topic that interests me. I love how long they are. These aren’t conversations that can be had in 30 minutes. They’re deep interesting dives. I don’t like every guest but I always love listening to people out there working to understand the state of being, that will move us all into a better future, whether I agree with them 100% or not. Thank you for taking your time to make these podcasts, Lex.

A ‘dance’ of intelligent conversations
I am a huge and humbled fan of this incredible podcast. Lex is clearly super bright, reflective and courteous as he gracefully ‘dances” with his guests in intellectual conversation. He explores controversial, complicated and nuanced subjects such as the development of AGI with huge skill - as an interviewer and conversationalist. I often have to listen to his podcasts twice to gets to grips with the ‘mind blowing’ content. Thank you Lex and guests for your long form conversations, and sharing your deeply scientific and personal thinking.

Compelling and heart-centered interviews
I am deeply fascinated by Lex’s ability to look at the future of machine machine learning and artificial intelligence and its impact on multiple different areas of life. It’s OK to be curious
Lex is truly intelligent, authentic, imperfect, and smart. And he is loathe to play act to satisfy his critics and politics of the day. He is simply curious. And largely unapologetic (though he will acknowledge what he views as his inevitable stumbles). Love, humility, a deep sense of responsibility and always curious. A good friend if I had ever known him.

Humble interviewing
I just listened to my first podcast of Lex with guest Paul Rosolie, and I cannot express how immersed I was in this interview not just because the guest is admirable and remarkable in his passions, but for the incredible interviewing of Lex. I really believe Lex is an important influence to future interviewers, where true investigation and understanding should be founded in compassion and respect especially when we disagree. I really appreciate you Lex and have been going back into your library to listen to your past interviews. Please continue to do what you do.
