Lex is a fantastic host who asks insightful questions of so many incredible guests. I love how his program exposes me to the views of such a diverse group of interesting folks - tech luminaries, journalists, scientists, politicians, world leaders, academics, diplomats, law enforcement agents, sex workers, mixed martial arts experts, and more! This PodCast makes me more knowledgeable about a range of topics that I otherwise would miss and more deeply informed about diverse views.

Lex is one of the best! My favorite podcast 😘

I love listening to this podcast as I sew. Lex has a profoundly heart-softening quality to him. His gentle curiosity and melancholic hope makes me feel like not all is lost and also that I am less alone. These qualities of his make for an excellent host. The shows are wide-ranging, meandering dreams. Definitely one of my favourite podcasts.

Lex has a great podcast and a great outlook on life. He’s very compassionate when it comes to a lot of things. His guests are great and I get a lot of enjoyment listening.

For such an intelligent person he should know there’s no “r” in “idea” and I’d like to see him build a house or fix his car.

Even though much of the subject matter is new to me and hard to get my head around, Lex has a way of making these topics accessible to a person, like me, who has no background in mathematics or computer science.On a personal note, I have found inspiration in these conversations to expand my knowledge on these topics, and I thank you for the light your podcast has shone in this world.

Informative podcast on a wide variety of topics

I have been so thankful to Lex for a long time for his work on this podcast. But with the last three interviews, including the one with Israel’s Prime Minister, I’ve found myself being simply hypnotized by the depth of Lex’s questions. Thank you Lex.

I started following for the science, I keep following for the comassion

The long conversations go interesting places, though I often find that Lex fails, even in a long conversation, to press points with interviewees, that are already criticisms of them or their ideas, or to identify obvious fallacies in their arguments, that could make the conversation even more interesting and enlightening.

I’m not as smart as Lex so I’ll keep this simple. Lex has a curious and open mind, the kind inexperienced by most of the World. He is unique. If the answers to Life’s mysteries comes when asked, then Lex Friedman asks the right questions. Just listen to his podcast. You’ll be a better person.

I appreciate Lex very much. There have been episodes where I have been frustrated with Lex’s interviewing techniques; but he is getting better (and this isn’t to say he isn’t already good). He is getting more diverse with his guests but my favorite episodes are still the ones centered around technology. Jim Kellers for example is a masterpiece. I hope he continues to tell us what he thinks and keeps these podcasts as a conversation. Not a script. Keep doing what you’re doing. If you ever want to interview a normy by influence standards. Hit me up.
