BasTalk - life at work.
Welcome world, to BasTalk - your podcast about life at work, where we talk about stuff that no one really tells you at work. That said if you are looking for some major management mumbo jumbo, this is not it. BasTalk has no life-changing advice, no get-rich-quick insights, or paradigm-shifting fluff stuff to transform your life or turn you into a superhero overnight. Instead, it is a simple, slow burn, straight talk. If you're patient enough to listen to some practical and tactical insights from my 20+ years of corporate experience, then BasTalk might be the right podcast for you. Think of it as a constant companion while you are stuck in the traffic of office life or struggling to get on that morning walk of your career, BasTalk is with you. There are various topics, from people management and leadership to career insights and navigating office culture and politics as well. The goal, idea is to make you rethink, reflect and revisit many aspects of your career and life at work and see if you could do it any differently. If not, that's okay too! BasTalk is not etched in stone, it's a work in progress and the content on topics evolve as I learn, experience, and reflect on my own journey. I welcome you all to walk the BasTalk! The Brand Identity

The Brand Identity

What works better - working for a big brand or a small company? The answer might surprise you.

People often think of it as a no-brainer. Join a big tech company, and the rest of it takes care of itself until they get jolted out of their silly

perceptions. Likewise, some think working at a startup is the easiest thing to do until the paycheck gets delayed ten days and your bank

account is depleting.

On one hand, money is more at a big brand; on the other, the workload complexity doubles while the role remains straight-jacketed.

However, if you work in a boutique outfit, or a startup, for example, the flexibility is high, but the stability is low.

So how do you decide? Can you afford to make a mistake in this mad rush?

In a complex world and competitive environment, you need to make decisions wisely.

Tune into this podcast, where I simplify and highlight some of the most common misconceptions or perceptions people have about working in

these two different types of companies.
