The All American, and not General American is the difference!
Loved the launch of the podcast. Listened to the first and the 10th episodes straightaway and going to listen the others soon! Katherine’s approach of using visualisation with her stress on All American, as opposed to General American, is the key as it causes a subtle shift in mindset. This, I believe, is very motivating and hopefully will go a long way in me learning and performing in an American Accent.

Exactly what I needed right now!
I’ve always thought the idea of a ‘General’ accent was a bit bland, so hearing Katherine and her guests talk about it is such a breath of fresh air. Motivating and educational with actionable exercises to do and goals to hit each episode. Subscribed and looking forward to more.

Fun and accessible
A friend recommended Katherine’s 5-day American Accent challenge end of 2020. I thought, “Why not?”. Katherine makes learning and refining this skill in an actor’s toolkit fun and accessible. She’s made it approachable. So excited for this podcast and I’ve been binge-listening episodes back-to-back. Good advice and insight into keeping the accent on a roll. Even listening to Katherine is a practice itself. Look forward to more content and Congratulations on the launch of the All American Actor’s podcast!!!

The All American Actor’s Podcast
She is sharp and smart! My problem is pronouncing words correctly with some concentration on syllables.
What impresses me is her ability to show by speech differences in pronunciation for US versus Aus and how to apply the correct sequence of sounds.
