Jordan Christian LeVan was diagnosed with childhood verbal Apraxia at age 5. He didn’t meet anyone else with Apraxia until he was 22. This left him feeling alone and isolated. But after accepting and taking ownership of his Apraxia diagnosis, he has gone on to become an Apraxia disability and mental health advocate.
He's the president and founder of The Apraxia Foundation, a motivational speaker, and author of several books, including ‘The Boy Who Didn't Speak, Yet’. His mission is to spread the message of acceptance and inclusion for all people and to show children who have been diagnosed with verbal Apraxia that they are not alone in the world.
