Favorite parenting podcast
This podcast gives wonderful information to help with parenting but never in a judgmental way. I love that they understand neurodivergence and how that takes parenting to a whole different level, so their advice is always practical, not impossible.
always look forward to this every week!
I have been listening to Margaret and Amy for years now since my kids were toddlers and they are now tweens 😩. they are so funny and cover all sorts of interesting topics and I love the research they do and the comedy sketches that are usually towards the end of the episodes. Highly highly recommend— they really do feel like awesome friends that keep you company amidst the stresses (and humorous moments) of parenting.
The BEST!
What Fresh Hell in the podcast that I most look forward to listening to. No matter what stage of parenting I’m in, Amy and Margaret always talk about a topic that hits home and I learn so much!
Awesome Show
Thanks so much for giving me a funny, insightful listen each week!
Best parenting podcast
By far my favorite parenting podcast. Love how the content has evolved as their kids have gotten older.
Love this podcast
I just discovered this podcast and have been listening while at work. Keeps my boring desk job entertaining! Thanks Amy and Margaret
Relatable, Funny, Informative
This is the podcast I most look forward to listening to every week. Margaret and Amy always manage to find the sweet spot that lies at the intersection of helpful, interesting, funny, relatable and informative. I can’t imagine a more difficult task, but they manage it every week. Chef’s kiss!
Smart, funny, and relatable
I’ve been listening to this podcast for years. Hilarious, smart, and relatable. Amy and Margaret feel like old friends at this point, but the content is still fresh and interesting. I look forward to listening each week…highly recommend
Best parenting podcast, hands down!
I LOVE Amy and Margaret! They bring humor and insight to the most important work that a person can do! The weight of motherhood can feel overwhelming and paralyzing. Amy and Margaret blend personal and objective perspectives that validate and guide my parenting journey on a daily basis. Thank you!
I always feel seen
I’ve been listening to WFH almost from the beginning and I always feel supported and seen, especially when I need that lift the most.
My fave ❤️
Always interesting, well researched and humorous- love this podcast!
The best
Love it! Makes me laugh and makes me think.
When in doubt, WWWFHD
Approximately my very favorite podcast. For any tricky topic or for any tough day, Margaret and Amy have the parenting wisdom and laughs to get you through.
Sanity Saver
I’ve been listening for years, helped get me through the pandemic years, and continues to be a great resource for me. Put on your noise cancelling headphones and let Amy and Margaret help you gain perspective and humor in your parenting.
Part of my Routine
I’m constantly telling my friends about funny episodes with Margaret & Amy. I wish they would put some intro and outro music in between the ads and the actual episode - would make it much easier to find where they starts talking again. And I don’t love the mail bag jingle- it’s dated but other than that- this podcast is comforting and refreshing in the motherhood space and it’s my go-to for when I need a break from work. (I typically only listen to the more personal /non interview episodes). Thanks Margaret & Amy for coming along on my walks and car rides 🚙🚶‍♀️keep the more personal episodes coming!
Enjoyable, Funny, and helpful
I am a long time listener- I am a mom with two kids, and this has been such a helpful show for me to feel normal as a mom- I am not alone in this journey, even though it can feel like it day-to-day- Margaret and Amy really help in those lonely days where you feel like nobody understands. And they are hilarious to boot! I love Amy’s research and Margaret’s input as a mom of a therapist! They really do have helpful info and guests as well! Thank you for being a part of my long parenting days!
Laugh out loud + learn while feeling validated
I love listening to Amy and Margaret, they crack me up. I’ve been listening for probably over 5 years—definitely pre-pandemic—and it’s been such a nice source of laughs and encouragement. Keep it up, ladies! Appreciate you!
What Fresh Research
As a scientist, Amy and Margaret are after my own heart when they come in hot with the research. The levity and practicality of the advice and content are the cherry on top!
Wonderful Podcast
Great podcast! I love listening to them!
My virtual moms group
I tell everyone I know about this podcast! Becoming a first-time mom during the pandemic (and becoming a second time mom during the same pandemic, who would’ve thought) was so isolating because I wasn’t able to meet other moms/caretakers at daycare and play dates. Luckily, even when I was alone taking my kids on a stroller walk and I listen to the podcast, I come home feeling like I met with a mom’s club and without the added hassle of scheduling and insecurities of making mom friends. I’ve been listening for five years now and the episodes, and Facebook community, are the ones who get me through all my parenting questions.
Best way to start the day
Every morning there is a new episode is a GREAT day! I love this podcast and it’s the only podcast I listen to religiously. It gives me so much comfort to hear the issues discussed, knowing I’m not the only one walking through fire in parenting . Margaret and Amy do a wonderful job providing research surrounding real issues while making me audibly LOL on my morning drive to work.
When Making Friends Aren’t Your Thing
I’m an older mom (soon to be 50… which being a bicentennial baby I’m now being reminded daily of being 50 next year via local news station 🙄) I have 2 teenage boys and our house is generally cluttered & people always coming and going. I don’t have many friends, but Margret & Amy remind me I’m not alone on this journey. They always share relatable stories and interesting guest that will answer all your questions. They bring peace to my chaos, by laughing at my mistakes (brought to light via my highly opinionated teens) Thank you so much for your time and stories. My life was dull until I found y’all.
Thanks Margaret and Amy!
Other parenting podcasts come and go for me, but I’ve been listening to What Fresh Hell for 5+ years now and it’s still a great listen every time. The wit conceals genuine parenting wisdom and I’ve learned a lot from Amy and Margaret’s experience and world view. Thanks so much from a mum in Australia.
Highlight of my Week!
