Verse for the Day In a social media age when 'performative individualism' seeks to counter lurking internal guilt, shame and self-doubt with distracting acts of public 'charity', Jesus looks pretty ... 'alternative'. (Who's 'up for' His lifestyle revolution?)
Promptness with forethought can be necessary. Rushing in is fraught with the risk of far greater complexity. There is an alternative. This would be a good one.
Verse for the Day Some things are so right but so generally unacknowledged, you've got to be ready to stand out from the crowd.
There sometimes appears to be a direct correlation between the emptiness of the vessel and the noise emitted ... let's not be deceived by that.
Verse for the (post-budget) Day Where do we stand now? "What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?"
Verse for the Day To know what you are doing, to know where you are going, and why .. gives point and meaning to a human life. But then to know you're doing this with the very best of most capable companions ... ? Solid gold.
Verse for the Day This cap doesn't only fit in rural Wales (on bad days you may recognise it and agree!) It's a cap that fits wherever people are found. Isaiah foresees a cosmic solution for catastrophic humanity. And he puts it down to what God was doing at #Easter

Twenty-nine minutes on an encouraging truth for bad King days
Verse for the Day Some days you need to take care of business. But then to take a seat, drink your paned and look beyond it ... or it can really wreck your ability to come back and deal with it again. #LookBeyond
Verse for the Day Humans: Build family Be fruitful Take responsibility for the Creation Manage it to its Creator's plan ('rule' isn't 'wreck'!) But be careful ... you can wreck it a) with a different ideological agenda b) by inaction. Humans ... step up!
Verse for the (rainy) Day When 'drips' seem to be your lot in life just remember who God delights in, and that drips are falling. (If they're getting on top of you, feel free to message me.)
Verse for the Day When it feels like the overwhelming powers that be are all against you and just not listening, what can you do and where can you go? (Hot tip: a refuge only works if you go there!) DM for more info. :-)
Verse for the Day Guilt? Don't look in ... in introspection. It will eat you up. Don't look along ... for someone to deny it with you. It will keep coming back to bite you. Look up to the One Who takes it on. And away. For good.
Twelve second Verse for the Day
... what would the world look like if we could bring ourselves to DO this stuff?
Verse for the Day Love entails devotion. So it is hard work. Love honours the other person first. So love is risky. Let's do it. Ymlaen!
