On the Road with our Podcast, The Colors of Sound
Set to launch in September 2023, our podcast, "The Colors of Sound" will be a 20-minute, bi-weekly podcast that aims to create a safe space for community members worldwide to share their unique stories.
 
The Book
 
We use our book, “The Colors of Sound Podcast Planner and Journal”, (available on Amazon at https://a.co/d/aqSW5xJ), to guide participants through the art of storytelling.
 
The Workshop
 
Let’s face it, there are several ways to create a podcast these days, so do some research and find the technology that works best for your needs. However, no matter the path you take to complete your goal, you will need to have something to say when you get on the microphone!
 
This workshop series breaks it all down for you and can be taught online or in person (in the NY/Tri-State region). Read below to learn more.

Timothy StoneDancer Coleman

Founder/CEO, Purpose Driven Leader, Public Speaker

Timothy 'StoneDancer' Coleman is a non-profit executive, and in his current role as Director of Education for BronxNet Cable Access, he teaches the community the art of storytelling through a series of certification classes that lead participants through the process of creating their own TV shows, YouTube stations and the creation of original podcasts.

He is the Founder/CEO of Coleman Global, an arts education company that he founded in 2021. For the past 2 years, Timothy has been the Chairman of the Board for Bronx Independent Cinema Center, a non-profit that aims to create a new independent cinema in the Bronx where filmmakers can show their original works. The center will also teach community members the art of documentary and independent filmmaking.

Timothy is a songwriter with Sony Music Publishing, with a song placement on a Grammy Nominated Album. He performed the role of ‘Benny’ in RENT and the role of ‘Jack’ in Jekyll and Hyde, both on Broadway. Timothy was in the First National Tour of RENT (The Angel Company) and has also performed in many reputable regional theatres.

Timothy is a certified Executive Director, and he worked in the non-profit sector for over 16 years.
