Vanessa Martinez is the CEO and founder of Empowered network. She is a mom of two daughters and is passionate about helping women improve their relationship with finance.
She started to love numbers and math at an early age and knew she wanted to help people. In high school, her math abilities took a toll, but she went on to do her undergrad and graduate degrees in math and finance. Vanessa loves to talk about the importance of starting conversations about money early on with kids and teens. She also talks about the challenges she's faced as a Hispanic woman in the finance industry and how being the only one in the room has impacted her.
