On the podcast, I sometimes ask listeners to "buy me Texas wine." So what does that mean exactly? I thought you'd never ask! ;-)
Rather than use Patreon like many podcasters do, I use a website called Buy Me A Coffee. It lets listeners make a donations to help defray the costs of the podcast. A few of my recurring expenses include podcast hosting, website hosting, and recording platform fees. I am still trying to offset the cost of my recording equipment too. When I travel to wine conferences, festivals, and events, I travel on my own dime. It all adds up!
