Trump Shooting and Civil War
A look at another response to the Trump shooting
A look at another response to the Trump shooting
0:02 Looking at our world from a theological perspective. This is the Theology Central podcast, making Theology Central. Good evening everyone. It is Monday, July the fifteenth, twenty twenty four. It is currently ten eleven pm Central Time, and I am coming to you live from the Theology Central studio located right here in Abilene, Texas. Now, from this studio and this studio, I am continuing to monitor how the church at large in the United States of America, how Christian ministries, Christian podcasters, how churches are responding to the assassination attempt against Donald Trump, the shooting of Donald Trump. How are churches, How are Christians responding to this? What are they putting forth? And we've been monitoring the responses primarily that have been posted on the Sermon's two point zero app Now, in the last line broadcast, I started off by saying, Hey, they're slowly starting to come in. They're slowly starting to come in, and I kind of made it sound like there were more coming in, and then I went to check myself and there wasn't near. In fact, I had a hard time even finding the one that I had found. I couldn't find anything, but I did find another one this evening, and we're going to review the audio of that. Now, let me just try to
1:32 explain why we are doing this. Why am I monitoring how Christians and churches are responding to the assassination attempt, because it gives me an idea if the church in this present situation is going to respond to it from a more biblical and philological perspective, or are they going to respond to it from a more political perspective? All right, and not only that, if they respond to it from a theological perspective, is it going to make sense? Is it going to be biblical? Is it going to be logical? Is it going to be consistent? And we've already found some problems, all right, so and the ones that we've monitored so far. So what I'm doing is I'm monitoring these responses first and foremost to determine how they are responding in the present, just seeing if it's political or thiological, and then trying to kind of look at their theological perspective. Right another reason, I'll just go ahead and get this out of the way, and then we'll go back and look at some of the lessons we've already learned. The second reason is what I'm trying to determine is if I can kind of figure out how the church is thinking in this present situation, it may allow us to kind of get an idea how the church is going to continue to think and where it's moving forward hope for the next well, oh, the rest of twenty twenty four, going into twenty twenty five. This just gives us a very just a very direct specific situation to look at, and we can kind of see how the church is thinking and then try to take from that where it is going. Now,
3:05 what we have seen so far and all of the responses that we have been monitoring or I have been monitoring, the first thing that we have seen is the very first response that I reviewed, basically their response to and this was coming from a Christian perspective. Their response is, Hey, because of the assassination attempt against Donald Trump, because of the shooting of Donald Trump, here's what Christian should do. Stop having anything to do with a liberal. Break off all content, all contact, have nothing to do with them, no fellowship with them, no, I guess, no friendship with them. Just have nothing to do with them anywhere in your community, in church, anywhere. And so if they are a liberal, you just no longer have anything to do with them. I found that absolutely just contrary to anything in the Bible. It just just seems crazy. And of course, guess what was missing in that first one. Nothing about loving your enemy, turning the other cheek over, do not be overcome with don't don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. I mean, I'm quoting literal scriptures here.
4:09 Okay, nothing about that if you see your enemy hungry, feed him thirsty, give him drink. None. There was none of that even mentioned nothing about our responsibility to be salt and light and going to those whom we may disagree with so that we can hopefully be examples of Christianity. No, it was just weird. Just cut off, just cut off all contact with them. So that was kind of a bizarre response, And that was kind of right out of the gate, one of the first ones that I read, and it was it was just crazy. Now the second one, and I told everyone to go subscribe to his broadcast on the Summer's two point Oh app that's the briefing by doctor Albert Moehler. Now he brought up looking at the shooting and the assassination attempt from the perspective of God's providence, or he didn't use the word decrees, but we could look at God's decrees and God's providence. And so I utilize the London Baptist Confession of Faith to look at the chapter. And I told everyone I want you to be looking at those two sections in the London Baptist Confession of Faith all week, the chapter on God's Decrees and the chapter on God's Providence. I think it's chapter three and chapter five. I could be wrong. I'm going from memory. And I told everyone to just look at that, and I asked you some very specific questions. And the most troubling thing about how there And I've heard a number of times where God's providence or god decrees have been mentioned. And what drove me crazy is, Okay, Donald Trump's life was spared because of God's decrees,
5:43 because of God's providence. But they don't they don't talk about decrees and providence in light of the individual who no one has yet to say his name. Everyone that I've listened to, no one has mentioned the name of the man who was shot and killed. No one has mentioned his name. I think I've been the only broadcast to mention his name. I don't know why, but nobody wants to talk about the man who was attending the rally who died. But nobody wants to mention his name, And nobody wants to talk to him about him in light of God's providence and God's decree, because if you're going to say God's providence, God's decree spared Donald Trump, and sense God stepped in, God protected Donald Trump all the different things I hear Christians say, well, hey, sorry to the family of the man who died, But you know, wasn't a part of God's decrees or providence. And God didn't decide to even though God was present at the exact same event.
6:38 He decided to protect that man. But your husband, your father, your brother, your son, he just let die. And that is a very troubling That's a very troubling thing. And again, the name of the man who died, his first name is Cory. And it's a comprotour, all right. And if I'm saying it incorrectly, I've apologized multiple times, but I'm not here. I've been waiting for someone else to say it. Corey Comfortour he was a firefighter and he died trying to protect his family. And I told you to write his name down right, And so I asked you some questions about a question about decrees and a question about providence. And then I told you on your paper to put Donald Trump and put Corey Comportour down right. Put the two names down, because you need to be confronted with that. So, but everyone who's talked about it, it's just kind of just skipped that just and it's just so weird, like we can't. Oh, it's just been it's just been kind of really frustrating. Then we reviewed a message where it got really frustrating because there were things said there that were just there was accusations made. Some of those accusations there was no proof given there was there was. It came very close to, if not just absolute bearing, false witness, fraugilent information, and it it became, yeah, it became it was. It was. It was very frustrating. So we we that's what we've monitored so far. Now by no means, because I
8:09 know I'm going to get an email what I've monitored so far, I am no way saying this represents the totality of the church. I am in no way saying this represents the totality of Christianity. What I'm demonstrating is that I am monitoring a variety of different voices, from a variety of different theilological backgrounds, and a variety of different kinds of churches, and so far what I have seen and heard has been somewhat troubling. That that's my takeaway so far. Now does it tell me where the church is going? Well? It once again it seems to demonstrate to me that one, the church is not always thinking from a biblical philological perspective, is thinking more from either a political perspective or just your own personal opinion that you're imposing on scripture. And two it seems to once again demonstrate that when it comes to Christianity, we sometimes don't want to deal with the harsh realities and the difficulties of our theology.
9:13 See when when everything, when someone's life is spared, when someone is saved, then we want to talk about God's decrees, his eternal decrees, and his providence. But we don't want to apply that to when someone slowly dies of cancer, or a child is molested, or a woman is raped, or or a man dies attending a political rally. We we then kinda we just kind of want to get God out of that and that because we don't. Nobody in the church wants to be made uncomfortable. But I am trying to say, we got to fit when we when we are confronted with the tragedy, pain and horror of life, we've got to be We've got to confront it and we've got to deal with it had all, no matter how uncomfortable it makes us. But sometimes the church almost Disney Five's tragedy. We go to a Hallmark Channel version, trying to make it sound like everything's wonderful when it leaves us with some very difficult questions. Now that's what we've monitored so far. That kind of gives us a summary. Now I know my review here, my kind of introduction has already gone ten minutes. The last one went way too long, so I'm trying to correct that. But I do want to get us all on the same page. So what we have in front of us this evening is a message entitled July the fourteenth, twenty
10:43 twenty four Current Events Gregory A. Miller. July the fourteenth, twenty twenty four current events, Gregory A. Miller. I want you to look for it if you go, if you want to look for the actual church on the sermon's two point. Oh, app it is Bible Believers Fellowship. If I can get it to open here, there we go a Bible Believers fellowship. Bible Believers Fellowship. So it looks like this was published on Monday, July the fifteenth, but it looks like it was preached at the church case. I'm looking at the video. It looks like he's literally in the church behind a pulpit, and so this was what they did Sunday at church.
11:30 This is being done in the church. He's got like a there's a screen up and he looks like he's looking at aerial footage of the area where the assassination attempt occurred. Now, I don't know anything else about this. I don't know anything. Again, I'm just monitoring what is being said. I'm not doing this to be critical. I'm doing this so that we can figure out how the church is thinking today and where it may be going tomorrow. But most importantly, I'm doing this so that you get to hear all the different perspectives about this event, this tragic event one that should bother us and disturb us. You're getting to hear all the different perspectives. You may agree with their perspective more than mine, that's perfectly okay, But you get to hear mine, you get to hear theirs, and you get to try to determine how you're thinking about all of this. And most importantly, we got to have a good conversation about God's providence and God's decrees. And I gave you some very important questions to work on, or two very important questions, and hopefully you've been working on that all day. Hopefully you really wrote those questions down and put it on the refrigerator, like I said. And hopefully you will remember the name of the man who was actually killed, because he continues to be forgotten in many of these conversations, but hopefully in this one the man will be actually named. All right, but we will see.
12:52 Here we go, We're only going to have one think talk by this morning. I just mentioned this with Israel. It's the same old Okay, I'm gonna back that up really quick. That started really abruptly. I think at the beginning, there's like a couple of seconds of just like nothing so it may this pause may seem extended, but I just want to make sure we have a clean coming in and we're not cutting anything off because whenever we do a review, I want the person to be heard fully. I don't want anyone to think I'm ripping anything out of context. The Current Events updated, We're only going to have one think talk by this morning. Just mentioned this with Israel. It's the same old, same old. Right now, you could just list the additional hamas people being killed and that sort of thing, but you know there's no way around getting having this as a current events update this morning. The Trump is assassination attempt. I'm so glad to be able to say it was an attempt, and ladies and gentlemen, I'm glad he said that. I am glad to report that it was just an attempt and it wasn't successful. And I would be the exact same way if it was President Obama, President Biden, Bush, Clinton, you named the president,
14:24 I would be glad that it was only an attempt and it was not successful no matter who it is. Right, we don't want people being assassinated, our political leaders. We don't want this, right, We don't want people being murdered. We don't want people being killed, right, We don't want that, Okay, So we should all be if like amen, and glad that well that President Trump was not killed. But even though the assassin a nation attempt was not successful against Trump, let's make s sure at the same time we're very as much as we're happy that Trump was not killed, let's also be just as bothered that someone was. Right, there was a man attending that rally that was killed. And at the same time, yes, I understand the shooter had to be killed, but it's still tragic when anyone created in the image of God is killed, even though it may have to be done in war or because of something with police, something may have to be done, but it's still tragic that someone created in the image of God was killed and entered into eternity, all right, So that's always should bother us to some level. So but I am very much in agreement. I am glad that the attempt was not successful one inch that way it had they over yea, and I won't I'll tell you I do not want to see
16:00 civil war, but that might have been what'd be going on right now. Oh wow, Okay, So we're going right to civil war talk. Now, I've heard this talked at a lot of places. I mean, I try to keep up with what you know, people are saying in all different circles. And there's been this talk of a civil war coming civil war. There's a coming, a civil war coming to America. There's a civil war coming to America. There's a civil war coming to America. So let me pose this question. All right, let's say a civil war begins. Let's say that was the first shot of the civil war. Let's say it has begun. But let's say we find I don't know, a week from now, a month from now, two months from now, four months from now, whatever the case may be, and it's basically America has entered into a civil war. What should be the church's response to the civil war? What is the bil Lo Christian response to it? Do you take sides or do you say, as you guys fight over political differences or for ideological differences, we stand outside of that fight. We are the church, and we call both sides to faith in Jesus Christ. We call both sides to be to put their faith in Christ, be baptized, and then be taught to obey
17:32 what Christ has given you. See I'm paraphrasing the Great commission, and then that is to love your enemy, turn the other cheek, resist not evil, do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Okay I'm quoting scripture now? Am I being naive to think that's what we would do? Now? But what should we do? Like? I want you to write out and I challenge you to do this. I want you to write down five things that the church should do if America had it enters into a civil war. If it's true, if it's true, I mean, people keep saying it's true. Whether it ever turns into anything, we can debate that. I'm just going from like, Okay, I'm just going to agree that it is a civil war. I'm just going to agree, Well, what should how should the Christians? How should the church? How should Christians respond? I want you to write down five things, and if you've got scriptural support for each one, write it down. I want you to just do your own meditation on that. I don't I'm not going to give them to you. I want you to think about it. What would be five things a Christian should do if America enters into a civil war? What what should the church's response be. I want you to really really just struggle with that. Okay, And if you do write these down, and if you answer the questions that I gave about God's decree and God's providence, then by all means email them to me. NEWSI f at Yahoo dot com.
18:56 That's news I f at Yahoo died. Come all right now, let's continue, all right? So all right, so we have gratitude that Trump wasn't killed and that that possibly could be maybe we've entered into a civil war. Right now, let's see where this goes. We're not going to show the video if you haven't seen it by a TV, because you can't own a TV and not see it or have the internet. Can you see it? Uh? But we will show you this and it's it's the shooting, but it's not the shooting of Trump. So just nothing gruesome here. I just want you to watch this. Those are our men up there. That's when I left office. That was the lowest point, and that comes right from the government services, comes right out of border. This is where the greatest questions remain, will remain, amount of illegal. They're looking right at the guy. Ever recorded history into our country and then and then the worst country.
20:18 All right, so we're gonna okay, so this is how this Remember what we're listening to. This was church Sunday. Now they're saying that the people were looking right at the shooter. Now has that been confirmed? Are we sure that the people he's looking where they're looking right at who? Who are you referencing here? Now? Now, I need to go watch the video. Okay, hang on, I'm gonna I'm gonna turn this down really quick. I'm gonna turn this down now. Hang on, I'm gonna I'm gonna hit play video. Okay, hang on, I'm gonna do I'm doing uh, I'm fast forwarding until I get to the video. Okay, yeah, okay. So it's showing this is seven minutes and twenty one seconds before the shots, and it shows the snipers who are part of the security detail.
21:08 They're looking now he's saying, they're looking right at the shooter. He's saying they're looking right at the shooter. I don't know if we have any independent confirmation from them saying yeah, I was looking at the shooter. I don't know if we have that right, so I would have now maybe he's got this evidence, this information. Maybe he does. Now the question would be is where is the church's responsibility? Is the church should we be the one saying, hey, asking all of the questions about the investigation, or should we be saying, how should we look at this from a theological perspective? Let the investigation run its course, then we respond to the investigation. What do you think if you would have went to church Sunday and someone would be like, hey, hey, these guys right here, they're looking right at the shooter. Why are they why are they not shooting? Now?
22:00 I'm looking at this what he's showing. It does show them looking. Now, maybe they're looking at the exact direction, and if it is, I'm assuming we don't need to ask that question. I'm assuming the investigators will ask that question, and someone may be held greatly responsible for what is going on here. I don't know. I don't know what they're I don't know what they're looking now. Maybe it's going to show more here. I'm gonna go back and play. I'm looking at the video, and so if I need to, I'll fast forward and look at what he's showing on the screen. I didn't realize This is going to be video heavy, but okay, that's all right. So let's just see how this. Let's just see how you can draw your own conclusion on whether you think this is what should have been going on in church or or how you think the church should respond. Everyone's going to have their their strong opinions on this. What only thing I don't want the church to do, and I will stand my ground on this is not speculate, not accuse, not give false information, not lie, and not bear false witness that we should all that's just like Christianity. One oh one. All right, But let's see maybe he's got evidence here that maybe the church needs to consider. I don't know, let's find out took over and look what happened to our country, probably twenty million people. He should be dead right now. And you know that's a little bit old, that chart that charts a couple of months old. And if you he's not hiding,
23:30 see something that said he's inside. Okay, now I'm going I'm going to I'm going to play here on my on my iPad and watch what he's showing. Okay, all right, okay, now it does. Now it does show again the sniper from the security team looking through his scope. It does show that does show that I'm watching the video. I'm watching the video, and I've already seen this video before. Which way does the bullet come from? All right? I'm trying to look where the snipers are located in relation to where Trump was standing in which direction the bullet came from? All right? So yeah, it's the video, and it does show that the sniper the sniper there. It looks like he pulls his rifle, the rifle back and repositions it and points it to it. I don't know how far he turns it, so I guess he Now we're going to get into all this speculating. I see. In other words, what he's The video is showing doesn't show exactly what they're looking at. It doesn't show exactly what they're looking at. So I would have to be able to see exactly where these snipers are positioned and when they're looking through the scope, exactly where they're looking, and then try to determine the position of the shooter and go, yes,
25:00 looking at him, why didn't they do anything? Now if that is determined to be true, Okay, but again, this is this what we should have been doing is throwing out the speculation. Some of you may think this is exactly what the church should be doing. I don't know. I'm I'm conflicted here now. Doing it on a podcast. I don't know if I would be doing it from the pulpit. Maybe on a podcast, I may be doing it right. Hey, hey, everyone at church this morning. As soon as church is over, I'm going I'm gonna be recording a podcast episode about the shooting. I've got some concerns. I think there's some things that we need to question, and I will be showing that on a podcast. I'll be going live at you know, two pm or three pm.
25:44 I just don't think it's appropriate to do it necessarily in the church. Now. Others may think it's perfectly appropriate to do it in the church. I don't know. I'm conflicted there. I'm conflicted. But let's let's listen to this and then he gets shot. Wow. Now, please don't come up to me and act like you're a security expert and tell me otherwise. I've got some security experts in my back pocket. One of those named Dan Bongino. But there's been others, including non Republicans, who've come forward and said something's wrong. Oh boy, Dan Bongino is a conservative talk show host, So he's pulling from that's what he's pulling from. And and and and and he's like, hey, don't come to me telling, you know, pretending to be a security expert. I've got some in my back pocket.
26:45 So you're just going to rely on other people. Oh this, I don't like the way the church is going here. This is making me nervous. This is getting into speculation and accusation. Why do we do this? Why can't we just wait, be slew to speak, be slow to speak, let it play out, Let the other people raise it. If other people already raising the question, then the people in the pew, they don't need more speculation and accusation. What they need is how do we look at this from a philological perspective? And then how does our theology raise some very uncomfortable questions? All right, but let's see where this goes. This is interesting that this one has been the most interesting of all the ones we've looked at.
27:27 All right, so he but you know, okay, yeah, I mean I don't know, we could get into I don't like when a pastor says, well, I don't know. I don't know. I understand what he's saying, Hey, don't come up here telling me what you think. Basically, though, he's kind of saying, don't give me your opinion, because he's got his opinion. But his opinion is based on people he listened to. What are the people in the pew have listened to someone else and have a different opinion. Why do you say, don't come up to me. I don't necessarily like that, right, Oh, I don't know.
28:08 I don't know, I don't know, I don't know. All right, let's see where this goes. And I'm only I'm going to give credit to one person for Trump being alive today. It's not those guys. It's the hand of God, all right. So the hand of God kept Trump alive, all right, And the hand of God did not step in to save Corey comparatour Corey compeatour dies try to protect his family. The hand of God could save Trump, but did not save Corey. Now that look, that's something you just have to do. Now. I know Christians always get defensive and go, well, God can save who he wants to save. Yeah, you can talk a big game when it's not your father or brother or husband or son. Now maybe he's gonna mention Corey. Maybe Corey's gonna get mentioned. So far and none other responses as Corey even get His name's not even stated. And I'm the only one saying his name, and I'm probably saying his last name incorrect one inch that way and it would have gone through
29:44 his eyeball. And I thank God for various reasons. Number one, I thank God because I don't believe Donald Trump's a saved man. That's why I don't want to see people shooting anybody, but especially an unsaved man. Praise God. I do love that. Right, you don't ever want to see an unsaved man shot because they go into eternity. Okay, that now it was Corey a save man, but so all right, I do like his I do like that. I do like that. I think this is genuine emotion and I like that. And I look, so this is kind of a powerful trying to approach it. I do like the church trying their best to approach it. I've got maybe some issues with some of this, but but that's okay. I do I do appreciate that they're trying to Like, Okay, we have to address this, and in some ways I will.
30:47 You know, again, I'm not not a fan of speculation and accusation, but I do appreciate. I don't know how it was at your church on Sunday. I don't know. Typically I am kind of the mindset that if you know everyone's showing up at church and that's all anyone is thinking about, then it's best just to lean into that and then approach it and talk about it from a biblical and philological perspective. I chose not to do that Sunday. I chose let's just stick with Psalm eighty three, Right, That's what I chose to do. I did bring up the situation, but I kind of chose Typically though, I am kind of like, hey, if everyone's already thinking about this, then let's just deal with it. That's that's kind of what I would typically do. So I can understand someone saying, hey, we're just gonna deal with it, because I know that's what you're all thinking about anyway. Now, the what is the right way to approach it?
31:47 That is the debatable question that includes Joe Biden. Now I say this with all the love I can muster, but if you've been saying, you think somebody'd shoot Joe Biden, and you're stupid and wicked, and besides the fact, just on a practical matter, you want President Kamala. Of course we were saying that when Obama was president, when people were saying some stuff about shooting Obama. So you want President Biden and how he got him. But now let me tell you something. You would see the hand of God not only in what happened and being an almost miss but do you realize the Founding Fathers actually set things up to incentivize assassination? Or Okay, well, I'm glad he said if you want to see someone else shot, it's stupid and wicked. I do like that. Don't really like the idea. Oh so you want this person to be okay, all right, it's still very political, and so the Founding Fathers set it up to incentivize assassin. See, now this is getting oh man. Sometimes what's going on in churches Sometimes it's just look, I don't know about you. In some ways, I could just spend all week just listening to sermons and what's going on in American churches. Sometimes I may end up in a pit of total despair. Sometimes
33:19 I'm just fascinated what goes on in churches. I'm just sometimes like, what is happening like and the church will be successful, And I'm like, I don't even know what's going on. Wait. We remember Jack Hibbs from Calvary Chapel. We were reviewing one of his sermons, and that's the first time I ever just got so angry. I had to just stop because of the things he was saying about Ukraine. Oh my goodness, gracious, that would that was? That was so over the top, Like I I I A'll never forget how bad that was. But so all right, so all right, just is anyone an expert on our Founding fathers? Is anyone a history expert? Do you believe the Founding Fathers incentivize assassination? Do you believe that's the case. Now, I'm curious to hear him make this case. I now, he didn't want anyone to come up to him pretending to be security experts. I guess if anybody was, you know, in the military and with security forces, I don't know if they would be allowed. Hey, I was security forces for I don't care. I don't care. I got some conservatives and other people I'm not gonna name the other people who who?
34:30 Okay, all right, So if that's the way we're going to go, can someone come up to you and maybe call into question your your belief that the founding fathers incentivize assassination. Maybe that's true, but let's see how he explains it. Originally, you could have your political opponent as your vice president, which would incentivize someone to knock off the president by the hand of God. After some years it was changed. Things changed and the vice president was handpicked by the president, so that if someone knocked him off, then his hand picked man became president. Now that hasn't meant that they'd get someone exactly the same, and most of time it hadn't been. You know that they sometimes you pick a guy who's not on the other team, but he's kind of on the other team within the party. So like when John F.
35:32 Kennedy got shot, we didn't get another John F. Kennedy. When Abe Lincoln was shot, we didn't get another Abe Lincoln after him, and so forth. But and I can say a lot about the history of assassinations and presidents and all that. We talked about that some other time. Okay, maybe an interesting perspective. All right, you can, you can make whatever you make of that. I'd have to do some serious I can kind of see the argument. I can kind of see the argument. All right. Okay, let let's see where this goes. Now, this is from the Federalist. A source familiar with Trump security detail tells the Federalists that the former and future president's detail has been asking for beefed up protection and resources for weeks, but has been rebuffed time and again by Biden's Department of Homeland Security.
36:35 The DHS, which oversees Secret Service Protective Detail, wasn't responsive to those requests. Okay, now I have heard this. Let me see. I'm gonna do a little research here live on the air. All Right, did the DHS deny request from the Trump security team for additional security personnel? All right?
37:28 Yeah, that that's at this point we're not going to get anywhere. Okay, hang on, let's see if I can that that that search is not going to work. Okay, let me try a different search thing here, Let me try a different okay here, uh okay, Now this one is saying, I get the facts verifying claims made about security at Trump rally. All Right, the investigation into the attempted assassination of Donald Trump at a rally and Butler Pennsylvania continues. The House Oversight Committee will be brief by Secret Service tomorrow. Regarding the shooting, there have been a lot of claims made on security. There have been a lot of claims made on security at the event. Our National Investigation Unit is getting the facts on what is true and what isn't. We know that the shooter was on a rooftop outside of the SEC security perimeter. Sources through the Associated Press the press that he climbed the ladder to get to the rooftop. We still don't know, though, how he was able to get there without being stopped by law enforcement. There's been speculation about why the building climbed, that the shooter climbed was not covered by security. A source with the investigation told CNN that a local counter sniper team were supposed to be at that building and that it was noted as a designated spot in the operational plan. The Pennsylvania State Police says there weren't They were not responsible for the area. Another accusation being made online is that Homeland Security denied request made by Donald Trump's team to increase SECURITYS Security secretary said that is
39:08 false. He even doubled down, saying they enhanced security back in June and no additional requests were made for more security. So here's a pastor standing behind a pulpit making an accusation. I do a five minute Google well fifteen second Google search, and the first source I come up with where they're investigating these claims, they quote the ACTUALS Security secretary who says it's false and even doubled down, saying the enhanced security back in June and no additional request were made for more security. We have new information about a post making rounds on social media. The poster claims to be from the sniper the photo. It says his name is Jonathan Willis and that he had crooks in his sight for at least three minutes, but Security Service refused to give him order to take out the shooter. Our partners at FactCheck dot org says the Secret Service says the claim is categorically false and they have no employee by that name. So I don't remember he said they're looking right at him. They're looking right at him.
40:25 This says, wait a minute, wait a minute, that's already being called into question. All right, Law enforcement sources told the Associated Press that they had reports of a suspicious person and went on a search for him. An officer climbed to the roof and encountered crooks who turns towards him. The officer couldn't pull out his own weapon at the moment, so he retreated. That's when crooks fired shots at the former president. As the FBI continues to investigate, we will get a clear picture of what happened at that rally and the days and weeks are leading up to it. Let me state it categorically again, no way should a pastor stand behind the pulpit talking about current events and either either throwing out wild speculation, making accusations that turn out not to be accurate, or just false. He made it sound like that the Biden administration, that the Biden administration somehow denied enhanced security. That is a massive accusation. If it turns out to be true, then obviously there needs to be accountability. If it turns out not to be true, every pastor and Christian claiming that will need to apologize. All right, I'm going to back that up one more time, but and I can say a lot about the history of assassinations and presidents and all that. We talked about that some other times. Now, this is a This is from the Federalist. A source
42:00 familiar with Trump's security detail tells the Federalists that the former and future president's detail has been asking for beefed up protection and resources for weeks, but has been They've been asking for beefed up resources for weeks. And you hear the woman in the congregation exactly now, if his information is true, then her exactly is well warranted. If his information is fraudulent, like I've already got information here, calling that completely into question, then lazy and gentlemen, he just led his person in the church to believe something that's completely fraudulent. Buff time and again by Biden's Department of Homeland Security. The DHS, which oversees Secret Service Protective Detail, wasn't responsive to those requests for more resources. And the question is, was Biden's regime behind the attack or did it deliberately do everything it could to allow it to Oh wow, was the Biden administration behind the attack or did everything in their power to allow it? That is an absolute direct accusation. And if it's not true. You're literally bearing false witness and this is happening inside a church. Now what this is what blows my mind
43:31 about Christianity. If that man is caught in any kind of sin, it'll be the end. But you can get up there and do this and nothing. You can just continue on in your ministry and be powerful and successful. Happened? That's a legit question. All should tell you this. The new head of secret Service is a d I appointed woman who admitted that her top priority was not to pick the best people to protect the president, but to add a bunch of queers and women. Oh wow, now we're going to use a derogatory term to refer to someone's sexual preferences. Oh my goodness, gracious, a bunch of homosexuals and women, I get are women in the same category as homosexuals. They shouldn't be on a security team. Now, I don't even know if that's true. I don't even know if that if that, even if that accusations, you shouldn't add it's true by all means, fact check it. Do your own research and see if it's true that.
44:52 Hey, my number one priority is not to hire the best people, but to hire homosexuals. And women? Oh Man, hang on, did the head of the DEI, I'm gonna do some oh man, their top priority Okay, hang on wasn't security but to hire to hire homosexuals and women.
46:00 I don't know if that's even going to come close to finding anything. Uh yeah, I'm not finding Yeah, Okay, I'm gonna god. Did is he saying DEI as far as like the diversity type? Is he? Is he saying like? Okay, that that does that? The woman who's in charge is a DEI higher, like a diversity higher. Let me let me back that up a little bit. That's a crazy accusation here. Let me let me let's lets see if we can find out, Execle what this accusation is behind the attack or did it deliberately do everything it could to allow it to happen. That's a legit question. Al should tell you this.
46:50 The new head of secret Service, is it? Okay? The new head of secret Service is a d I hire. Okay that that that is what I'm saying. Okay, so did the head of the Secret Service? Glad? I backed that up because I was making I was I was referring to the d I. Yeah, I did not catch the kind of the idea there. Did the head of the of the Secret Service say their priority isn't security but to hire homosexuals and women? Man, this is crazy. Okay, I'm not I'm not seeing here. I gotta see here. That's not Biden calls for an independent investigation into the Secret Service fail. Okay, so there is an acknowledgement that they failed. I think we can all agree there.
48:20 Yeah. So I don't even know how to I don't even know if I can find that. I mean, that's just a direct accusation. Now again, what should they do if you want to make this accusation? What should be cited? Class? Come on, everyone tell me what should be cited? A primary source, not a secondary source, A primary source, so that I can go look now, maybe maybe it's on the video. Maybe it's on the video. Maybe that's what I'm missing here, because the video is doing like a slide here, like a like a PowerPoint presentation. So let me see here, let me see here if I can. I'm just gonna go fast forward really quick. All right, here we go, all right, here we go, here we go. Okay, here we go. Okay, Yeah, I'm looking to see if they show it we'll keep listening. I don't know. He doesn't state it, so if there is a if they put something on the screen, then I would not know.
49:35 I would not know, so because I want to be fair. If he's got the actual quote where the person like, Hey, I don't care, I'm ahead of the Secret Service and I don't care about security. I just want to hire homosexuals and women, then obviously we would want that quote. D I appointed woman who admitted that her top priority was not to pick the best people to protect the president, but to add a bunch of queers and women. Wow. What'd you turn on? Yes? And if you saw that, what'd you see a bunch of women? Wow? Now hear someone say wow. They're saying wow, because like I can't believe this is true. Hey saying when you turn on the TV? Or say, what'd you see a bunch of women? Well, I don't know, sir.
50:31 I served in the United States Military, and I worked with women. Oh my partner on security Forces who was in our mobile unit where we drove around different locations to ensure that things were secure. We're kind of like the mobile unit, either on the flight line orherever we were located. Oh, it was a woman. Oh. And when I was put on a security detail to protect a hospital during desert storm, the person with me carrying an M sixteen was a woman. Oh, but I guess you know women can't do the job, right? Is that the implication here women shouldn't be on a security detail. I guess women shouldn't be in the military. Is that the they're not they're not capable? Is that the case? Now? No offense women, No offense. But I want big burly men like Charlie here surrounding me. No offense to you men. I don't want somebody like me.
51:46 I want somebody at least a head taller than me and weighs at least as much I weigh. But it's muscle and not fat. Say y'all admit it. How many of you menmit that? I mean, if you women, women enough a mid that But this is some of you seen this. But I just want you to listen to what happened and watch and listen to the rally. Right, we couldn't see him, but we could hear him. So we walked up in probably five to seven minutes of Trump speaking. I'm estimating here. I have no idea you know, but we noticed the guy crawling army you know, bear crawling up the roof of the building beside us, fifty feet away from him. So we're standing there, you know, we're pointing. We're pointing at the guy crawling up the roof. And he had a gun, right, he had a rifle. We could clearly see him with a rifle. Absolutely, we're pointing at him. The police are down there running around on the ground. We're like, hey, man, there's guy on the roof with the rifle. And the police were like, huh what, you know, like like they didn't know what was going on.
52:53 You know, We're like, hey, right here on the roof, we can see him from right here. We see him, you know, he's crawling. And next thing, you know, I'm like, I'm thinking to myself, I'm like, why is Trump still speaking? Why have they not pulled him off the stage. I'm standing there pointing at him for you know, two three minutes. Secret Service is looking at us from the top of the barn. I'm pointing at that roof, just standing there like this, and next thing, you know, five shots ring out. Your son where the Schultz came from, not going on the roe hundred and he was up there for a couple of minutes. He was up there for a couple of minutes, absolutely at least three to four minutes. And you were telling at least we were telling the police we were pointing at him. For the Secret Service who were looking at us from the top of the barn, they were looking at us the whole time when we were standing by that tree.
53:40 Could they binoculars they see? Probably not, because the roof, the way that the slope plan he was behind where they could see. But why is there not Secret Service on all of these roofs here? Now a couple of things. Remember Secret Service was supposed to be there, he admitted. At least the Secret Service agents he's referring to could not see. And second, remember, according to the report that we read, an officer see. This is why this is the kind of thing you can't do in church, because you're just creating all of this suspicion and speculation. When when you and all you just start doing more research and immediately we're getting conflicting information. That's why the church has to be the source of going Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, let's wait till the investigation. But we've got at least one report where a police officer did climb up there, confronted the shooter, tried to get the gun out of his hoster, could not retreated, and then boom. Immediately the shooter shot at President Trump and then almost instantaneously was taking down by Secret Service sniper. So now obviously something went wrong. But just remember, because something goes wrong because there's failure, doesn't then rise to oh it was a conspiracy. And then he made the at least assumption, was the Biden administration behind this or did they allow it? Now, now it's getting conspiratorial. You're making accusations, you're making applications, and this is all happening inside a church on a Sunday. I mean, this is not
55:19 a big place. Did you see. I mean obviously everyone when the shooting started, everyone was very panicked. Oh did you see what happened to him at all? Oh? Yeah, they blue his head off. Okay, sorry, secret Service blues head off. Okay, we'd just be carefully because we don't quite know who's watching. But you're pretty sure they shot the guy absolutely, Okay, yep, you saw that happened, yep, yep, okay, yep. And did you see them go up to him afterwards or they Yeah, they crawled up on the roof. They had their guns pointed at him, make sure he was dead. He was dead, and that was it. It was over. There's no way anytime that is happening.
55:59 Who whatever it is is on the stage is down. He would have been surrounded the way they surrounded him after the shots fired, before the shots fired, and got him off stage. Do you hear the people in the church exactly like everyone's buying into Oh see something, There was something sinister. There was something going on right, not just failure, not just that human beings mess up, that security things break down. Now, there's no excuse for it, and people need to be held responsible, but it doesn't necessarily mean it's some nefarious plot. Now, if you can prove that it's a nefarious plot, then by all means, let's expose it, let's get the people responsible, and let's hold trial justice being done. I'm all for that, I'm all for investigating, I'm all for the questions being asked in the appropriate place. But is this what the church should be engaged in? This is what the church is supposed to be doing. That's the question. That's why we're monitoring this to see how other church is going to respond. What is the philological perspective? What is the biblical perspective? Again, I think just Christianity one oh one is that as Christians, we do not throw out wild speculation, accusation. We do not bear false witness, We do not share any false information or lies. I'm not pulling the fingers at anybody, but I'm telling you, if they claim after an investigation that someone wasn't on the
57:32 take and there wasn't compromise, they're lying. I'm not accusing anyone, but this is what they must find in the investigation or they're lying. They must find that someone was on the take. If they don't find that, then they're lying. So now you've called even the investigation, Now you're calling it into question. This is just this is what's going on in a church. I don't understand. I I this is not possible without compromised security. Now I got a brain enough, I got eyeballs. I can see it for myself. But I'm telling you that security experts are saying the same thing already.
58:22 Here's another one. We as Trump starved, I noticed two officers that were looking for. Please note video of average people saying certain things. He keeps saying security experts are saying these things. Will play the video of the security experts. Identify the security experts and give their credentials. Who are the security experts? What are their credentials and what are they basing their conclusion on? Personal experience? Now we a security expert could say this is how it should have went down, this is how it went down, and something is wrong. A security expert cannot just then determine someone is on the take.
59:10 There was an nefurious pot. You can't draw that. You can draw the conclusion based on this is how you set up a parameter. The perimeter should extend this far. This is what you should do. When I was security forces that sometimes when we were being tested or there would be an exercise, we'd be challenged. Okay, this is what happened. Okay, we're gonna set up a perimeter where we know that will give you a map of the location. Okay, where do you set up your parameter? Where are you going to set where are you gonna set up this, where's going to be this, where's gonna be your are you going to control entry into the area, who are you and you have to then map it all out and telling them, Okay, in this situation, this is what you would do, this is what you would do, this is what you would do, this is where you would sit and and those are things you have to do.
59:51 And security forces. So now someone with that background, and by no means even though I was security forces, I wasn't there. That was not my primary job. I was only supposed to be there a short time. And I won't go into all the details and all the things that happen. But the point is is I'm not even all I even with my limited knowledge, if I was to draw any conclusion, I could just say, well, this is the way it should work, but I get but that would be basing it on certain situations. This is a different situation. So you would have to have someone who's who's very knowledgeable of current security procedures and say this was a breakdown in these procedures. Now, the breakdown does not necessarily mean nefarious plot, compromise someone on the tape that is accusatory, that is making it and then saying if the investigations don't say that they're lying, that that is making this is just filled with accusation, possibly bearing false witness suspicion.
1:00:51 This is just I don't this is what the church cannot do. This is this is what I did not want to happen thing or somebody. I was so I was looking around myself and seeing a guy on top of one of the buildings, go in between one building to the next, and I went and told the officer that he was up there. And when I went back to my spot, I heard that people could still see the person from where they were standing. So I checked that out, and I went and went back to tell the officer that if heat came over there, he could see them. And when I turned my backs when the shots, when the shots started, and then it was it took me a second or two to figure out exactly what it was. And then it was just getting out of there and helping helping some some other person out with her child. And we got out and that was that was the end of that, and I went and left and that was all. So the viewers have some perspective behind us, Okay, is the American Glass Research Company? Okay? Can you kind of describe the building behind us, the tan building right there? Can you take a look at it, and then where was the shooter exactly. There's more buildings behind the tan building that we can see, and we were back there and there's two buildings, two or three buildings behind that, and he was
1:02:25 on both of them, I assume both of them when he went on that small section from one to the other, and that was that was where he where I last saw him, was the end of his day. So this man was able to basically climb to the next building and you told law enforcement, hey, there's a guy over there. Correct. I don't know how he got up there. I don't know any of that, but I definitely saw him up there, sir, and that was all I know. It's just impossible. Again, I'm all for the questions as far as these things need to be investigated, but again, what information is he not saying the information that I found where an officer supposedly did crawl up there, did confront the guy, could not get his gun out of the holster, retreated, and then immediately found Now I don't know if that information is accurate, but see immediately we've got conflicting information. Since this is then where the church starts navigating or starts trafficking, I should say in suspicion and speculation. I just don't know if that's the church's job. When confronting what's happening in the culture.
1:03:49 We should look at it from a more biblical philological perspective. That's all I'm saying. Now. There may be a place to talk about these things, right, there may be a place. I don't know if this is what I would be doing from the pulpit. Maybe in a podcast, maybe maybe this would be good stuff to talk about. But if you're going to even do it in a podcast, if it's going to be a Christian podcast doing so, then what you have to do is ensure that every detail, every accusation, every question is based on fact. You have all the facts. There's no defamation, there's no bearing false witness, there's no false accusation, there's no wild speculation. Now, if you're not a Christian, go to town, why speculate make things? Just do have a good day, all right. But for the Christians, we're supposed to speak truth. We're supposed to put away lying. We're not supposed to bear false witness. We are not to be gossiping and slandering and wild accusations. We are to be factual and careful and be as why is as a serpent, and harmless as a dove, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. You know all of the scriptures. This is not this is exactly what I did not want to happen. This is what my This is why I'm spending all of this time monitoring all of these responses. Now, once again, we're over an hour. The all of these are going over an hour, and this is not what I necessarily want to be spending all my time on. But at the same time, and I've been sorry.
1:05:16 I have a bottle cap here from my water bottle and I keep messing with it, so I apologize. I know that's not very professional. I'll throw that to the site. But I'm just getting I'm getting kind of just like I'm getting very animated. On one hand, I understand what he's trying to do, like I'm trying not to be negative, but at the same time, I'm bought like I'm conflicted. I do appreciate that, Hey, everyone's going to show up to church. This is what everyone's thinking about. So let's discuss it. Okay, I understand that the question is there are things that should govern the way we respond to it and how we address it from a Christian perspective. Now, of course I make mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes, we're all we all mess up all so so in the moment, maybe you could we could call into question some of this. Now, you may agree with the way he's approaching it. You may have an argument, No, this is what the church you're doing. We should be calling out all these inconsistencies. We should be questioning everything, we should be challenging everything, and we should be pointing out what really happened. But again, I just think I can. I can push back and say, but every claim must be factual. You can be making accusatory statements from the church, because that's not what works unless the accusation is confirmed in the mouth of two or three witnesses. Now, I do agree that he could play the audio from and he's got two witnesses that Hey, people saw the person and police officers were notified. Why wasn't something done sooner? What was done? Now, according
1:06:54 to one report, a police officer did climb up there, obviously, how long? How long was he notified. Why didn't he immediately instead of going up there to confront the person. Why didn't they immediately notify a secret service? Because if you have different agencies, just so that if you know this, if you have say police or local police or sheriff or secret service, are they utilizing the same frequency, are they using different frequencies? Does each agency have access to the other frequency so they can immediately call the other frequency and say hey, hey, hey, and whatever you know, the they're they're how they're going to use their call signs, Hey, we've got you know, whatever the language they're using, whatever their codes they're using. I'm not going to start, you know, any speculation, but whatever their call sign is, they call, hey, I've got a possible hostile, I got a possible suspect, you know, you know, take take the president down, get him off stage immediately immediately until we can verify. Now we can ask those questions and speculate, but again, we got to be very careful to ensure that all the information is accurate. In some cases, we won't know until an investigation is done, and then there should be some someone's going to have to answer some very unpleasant questions. I'm all for that.
1:08:10 So I think you could say, hey, there's a lot of things about this that make no sense, and you probably have a lot of questions this morning. But as Christians, here's what we need to do. We cannot slide into wild speculation, making accusatory comments, because we want to traffic and now we want to traffic in truth, accuracy, and we don't want to bear false witness, and we do not want to be gossiping and slandering lying in any way, shape or form. That's what you could then call your people to do from a biblical perspective, and you could read those scriptures about speak the truth with your neighbor, put away lying, bear not false witness. I could go on and on and on and on and on about all the scriptures that would guide that would be a good scriptural approach. Hey, hey, there's going to be all kinds of misinformation, there's going to be all kinds of falseom frien, there's going to be wild speculation. Hey hey, hey, children of God, don't don't don't go there, don't go step back. Try to bring peace to the situation, Try to bring calm, Try to tell anyone you have influence on, put away the wild speculation.
1:09:14 Let's wait and let's see. If these questions are not asked, then maybe then it'll be appropriate for us to raise them. But the questions are already out there, so let's see how this plays out before we jump in to the wild speculation. You know, there's a story as true story. This guy he would climbed he wanted to see Bill Clinton is back in the nineties. He wanted to see Bill Clinton and he couldn't see him, so he decided he'd get something to look through and he would climb up the telephone pole. So he pulls his rifle with the scope so he can see Bill Clinton. He's not gonna shoot him. He had no intention. It was unloaded. They later found he didn't have enough sense to know that someone up on a telephone pole with a rifle looking through the scope isn't going to sit off. Red Flatball guarantee you one thing. Billy wasn't on the stage after they saw him. So shooter was aboute hundred and fifty yards from Trump on a rooftop with a direct line of side of the stage. This is John Cardio. It defies every security protocol ever written that this rooftop was not secured and low, and according to one report, it was supposed to be.
1:10:36 According to the one report, that someone seemed to acknowledge that, Now, why wasn't it. Someone's going to have to answer that question. I do agree. It seems to defy most security protocols that I'm aware of, But I am, by no means an expert, not going to pretend to be an expert in any way, shape or form. I would think you would have the parameter pushed further back right, You would think right, and you would think also, I'm just this is just now, this is me speculating. See, this is what you get into is you would think that there would have been drones over the area because those are relatively you know, inexpensive, and someone would be monitoring the drone feed and be like, hey, hey, guys at six o'clock or three o'clock or you know, we've got we got we got someone moving, they're armed. Okay, okay, hey security security, you know, take the president down, take the president, remove, removing, removing, you know, because a drone would have seen it instantaneously. So why weren't they using drones? I don't know, I get do they ever use drones. Maybe they never. I know they use drones and professional wrestling for camera angles. They use drones for that, so you'll get some some crazy camera angles. Well it's a drone flying around inside the audit the arena, or if it's a stadium show. So if they can use it for good camera angles for professional wrestling, you think they could use them for I don't know, a security detail. That would be the
1:12:06 easiest. You get an aerial footage, someone monitoring the live feed from the camera. I'm like, hey, we got a problem here. There's someone with a gun walking up towards the area. They're outside the perimeter, but they're climbing up. Hey, guys, we got a problem now again, I don't know why they don't. I don't know why they don't. I don't. But see, that's just me speculating. I can't make some but listen, because I have that question, and because I speculate, doesn't then allow me to infer accuse, bear you know, make any you know, accusatory type comment or even accusatory speculation. I could just say it doesn't make any sense to me, but I'm not going to accuse that. That doesn't necessarily mean that there's a plot or something nefarious, or someone's on the take, or the Biden administration had it like I'm not that is going then.
1:13:00 See you see where the this is trying to find that balance enforcement personnel, we're not standing up there and that's a fact. Uh one fella Jack Soviet said he was a sniper with a full rifle kit allowed to bear crawl onto the closest roof to a presidential nominee a sniper rifle kit didn't. Now my understanding is the shooter had an AR fifteen or an AR fifteen type rifle, which is not a sniper rifle. So I don't know did he crawl up there with a sniper rifle kit? Did he have a full kit? Like maybe he did. I don't know that. If I get I don't know where that information comes from. My initial the initial see you see, we'd have to start fact checking all of this. That is just where you don't want to get. John Musk says extreme incompetence or it was deliberate. I cannot buy incompetence. So we're gonna quote Elon Musk, who's just wildly speculating, and so he's creating the entire vibe that basically, hey, this was done on purpose someone, not just a shooter. There was there were there were forces beyond the shooter. And this is what's happening inside a church on
1:14:32 a Sunday. See, this is where I struggle. See if I was doing this on a on a podcast episode, well even then I would question. I would question the legitimacy of doing that, even at a Christian podcast. If it's not a Christian podcast, just go to town make up every You can just say whatever you want. Well, actually you can't say whatever you want because if it reaches the level of defamation. Example, Alex Jones sued what a billion dollars whatever, it was some crazy amount for what hit his claims about Sandy Hook. So you can be held responsible for defamation.
1:15:14 You can be legally held responsible when you're making accusations that are just turned out not to be anywhere close to the truth. So even if you're doing on a podcast, there's legalities about what you can and cannot say. Either way, this Secret Service leadership must resign. I could show numerous videos like this, people could see the man up there, that's after he's already been shot. And killed. I think that gives him from the guy who's see what's bad for him. Now, I just want to remind you a few things.
1:15:56 Some of you have already thought of this, but Biden told donors the other day it's time to put Trump in the bullseye. You remember when Sarah Palin talked about putting someone in the crosshairs, and I believe Biden did say that, and I believe Biden has apologized for that, And I believe no one should be using that kind of language about their political opponent, putting in the bull's eye, put them across. I know that may be just a statement, but in our current climate, nobody should be saying that. So Biden shouldn't be saying that. But again, go back to what people were saying during the Obama administration and what people said about Biden, what people said about class. I mean, this happens on both the left and the right.
1:16:42 But yeah, as Christians, we shouldn't be saying anything along those lines. Now I'm going to stop right there because we're at seventy six minutes. Again, that's called July fourteenth, twenty twenty four, current events. Gregory A. Miller, please go listen to the rest of it. I would challenge you to go listen to the rest of it so that you can hear it for yourself and he and and you know, by all means, follow him, by all means, follow the Church. I mean, I'm not trying to make some massive derogatory comment. I just I mean I got some problems with some of it, and I think it's okay because, again my argument is from the Christian perspective, we have clear guidelines and how we should approach it. No bearing false witness, no false accusations, not being accusatory, speculative, conspiratorial, put away lying, only speak the truth. Do not be participating in gossip and slander and just wild suspicion. Don't be creating a narrative that's only going to create you know, suspicion, paranoia, and accusatory emotions from the people in the pew. When some of the information, well some of the information we clearly verified, it's just not accurate, Like you can't you just you can't do that. Now, my feelings are is that we're going to get more and more of these kinds of responses from Christians
1:18:16 and churches over the next couple of days going all the way up, I believe into next Sunday. I could be wrong, but that's what I feel now. I know I've received emails from a number of ministries were like my where they basically, here's my response to the shooting. Here's the three minute video, five minute video. I've been primarily focusing on the type of response that's being published on the sermon's two point oh app because that has remained consistent with our twenty twenty four sermons two point our Sermons two point oh app sermon challenge. So that's why I'm mainly maintain monitoring that platform, because that's what we're supposed to be doing this entire year. So I don't know what you've heard, I don't know what your thoughts are on all of this, but please note, at least up to this point, the name of the individual who died never mentioned, never mentioned his name. Not only that, there's been no philological He mentioned the hand of God, but I mean there was no real there's been no biblical or philological approach to any of this. Now I'm cutting it off, so you have to go listen to the rest to see. He may end it that way, and it would be maybe that may be fascinating, and maybe if he does get to some biblical philological perspectives, maybe we will review that at a later time. But there you have it. That's what's going on inside the church and churches. Now again, I'm not extrapolating that response and blaming all churches or pinning them all with the
1:19:48 same brush. I'm not doing that. Every church is going to respond to this in variety of ways. Keep up with how it's going. You'll see how churches are thinking in the present, and I may see where the church is headed in the future. All Right, thanks for listening. You can email me at news i F at yahoo dot com. That's NEWSI F at yahoo dot com. Thanks for listening everyone, Have a great night. God bless
