A look at a new devotional that will be published tomorrow

01 Looking at our world from a theological perspective. This is the Theology Central podcast making Theology Central. Good afternoon everyone. It is Monday, June seventeenth, twenty twenty four. It is currently two thirty two pm Central Time. And I am coming to you live from. Where Where am I coming to you live from? Do you know? Do you know? Do you know? From? The Come on everyone, say it with me. The Theology Central Studios located right here in Abilene, Texas. Now, as many of you know, we have lots of different series for this podcast, right, We have all these different series, and one of those series is entitled I on Christianity. Now, the whole goal of that, the whole idea behind that series was this would contain any episodes where I turn on the microphone to talk about what's going on in the Christian world, right, And that could I mean, that really can be a lot of different types of broadcast. So we have that series. It has a lot of episodes in it, and I mean, in some ways, I literally could just dedicate, you know, every day to just the series I on Christianity. Here's what's going on in the world of Christianity today. The Southern Baptist are doing this, the Methodists are doing this, the Lutherans are doing this, the Presbyterians are doing this. This is happening, This is happening. This book just came out, here's a new Christian movie. Here's what's you know, the top ten

33 on the Christian music charts, and here's what's the top ten Christian books right now. And here's what's going I mean, literally, and we could let's review a sermon from this church. And I mean there's so much we could do. I mean, you could dedicate an entire podcast to just Eye on Christianity, the podcast that focuses and keeps an eye on what's going on in the Christian world so that you don't have to something like that. I could come up with the tagline, but so we have that series. How much time I dedicate to that series? I'm always debating, because literally, I could just go to the Christian Post every day. I could just go to the different Christian news sites, and literally I could just broadcast hour after hour after hour after hour after hour. But that would turn almost into a news program, and that once that starts, then well forget everything else we do.

17 But you notice all the other things we also try to do. We've got the Sermon's two point oh app challenge going on. We have the Bible pop quiz that I've been way behind, but we did one yesterday. We have all the different things that we're always worrying, Bible study exercises, which kind of has this year kind of turned more into the Sermon's two point oh app challenge. And we have devotional messages, and we have messages on hermeneutics and so long gospel series. There's the variety. I'm always trying different things, but I do still, even when I'm not broadcasting, I try to keep my eye on what's going on in the Christian world. Because if I can keep my eye on what's going on in the Christian world, it gives us an idea of what's going on now. But most importantly, or more importantly, maybe most importantly, it kind of lets me know where Christianity is headed. And sometimes wherein I start looking at where Christianity is possibly headed, you know, I'm kind of like, well, it was a good run while it lasted, okay. And when I say and that doesn't mean the truth of Christianity, I'm saying Christianity as kind of this corporate body, this kind of what we see in the world today. The truth of Christianity.

27 I'm always going to hopefully maintain my faith in that and hold on to that Christianity as it is seen as it is played out in churches and ministries. When you kind of see the direction that's going, sometimes you sometimes have to kind of shake your head and go, I don't know what is happening. We've talked about the political hijacking of it, We've talked about philological trends, doctrinal trends, and sometimes you a good way to kind of see where things are going is to try to see what books are coming out. Right now, I don't keep up with it as much as I used to, because used to I spent multiple hours a week inside Christian bookstores. I mean, I mean my first I think I went to my first Christian bookstore probably within the first week of being saved, and that was the Bible Bookstore on Butternut Street and Abilene, Texas. The building is no longer there. It's been torn down. It's kind of sad. Almost all Bible bookstores kind of disappeared.

27 I mean, how many used to be in your city? And how many are there now. But I used to go every week to the Bible bookstore, to a Christian bookstore, I mean, and I would look at every single thing that was out, like everything. So I always had an idea, Hey, that book just came out. That bookase just came out. And in many of the Christian bookstores they would have like our top ten bestsellers, they would have them all stacked right up there, maybe at the front, and so I could keep track of what people were buying and reading and what was going on. And sometimes that was really I was able to go, Oh, that's the book. We better, we better pay attention to that, because that thing is about to become a major issue. I mean, everyone's going to be talking, everyone's going to be reading it.

10 Sometimes I completely missed it and like, you know, didn't even see it. Next thing, I know, everyone's talking about it, and I'd be like, how did I miss that? But it's much harder today to really keep up. I think. I think it's much harder. I feel like it's much harder. I also believe that there was a time that pastors promoted more books from the pulpit. I guess some still do that. I just feel that there was a time almost every sermon I listened to, Hey, you should check out this book or this book and this. Maybe maybe that seems to have passed, but it's just harder to keep up with I feel. Maybe that's not true, but it just feels like that. And maybe maybe if I pulled up all of the different websites and kept track of it, that way I could. It was just easier to just walk into a bookstore while I was looking for books and like, oh, here's what everyone is mine. Sometimes I could just ask the people working there, so your what's the book that's you know, everyone's purchasing over the last month or so, Well, this is the book everyone keeps looking for, And I'll be like what is this? Wait? What? And I'll usually I was baffled and perplexed and confused and like, what is happening in the world of Christianity?

19 Well, I bring all of that up, because what time was it? Hang on, let me see if I can find it. At twelve forty pm. Twelve forty pm, I get an email. The email subject line is don't miss and I'm like, what am I not to miss? What am I not to miss? It? Says don't miss from Joshua Giles. G I l E. S. Giles. That's how I'm going to promote it or say it. Could it be Giles Giles? Okay, all right, Joshua Giles subtitle God is doing a new thing. Be ready for it. And I'm like, okay, I don't want to miss it.

06 God is doing a new thing and I need to get ready for it. Oh, what is God doing that is brand new? I need to know what God is doing that is brand new. He's doing a new thing. Now. I have been hearing that. I have heard that kind of phrase, that phrase frequently in my life as a christ God is doing a new thing. God is doing a new thing, and it always just seems to feel like it's the same old thing. Right is God is doing a new thing, and it'd be like and it just looks like every other day. But okay, God is doing a new thing. I don't want to miss it, but I gotta be ready for it. So I'm like, okay. So I look down, I'm like, oh, this is from the Christian Post. I'm like, okay, the Christian Post. And then underneath it it says this email is sent on behalf of our sponsor, Baker Publishing Group. And I'm like, ah, this is an advertisement that's being sent to me by the Christian Post. They have a sponsor. Now that sponsor wants them to promote something. And if it's a publishing group, then it's going to be a new Christian book. So I open it up and it says Chosen, a division of Baker Publishing Group. And I'm like, chosen.

16 Okay. First I thought, oh, no, this is going to be connected to the show. Okay. I'm like, I don't want to get back into that controversy. Okay, all right. So then I'm like, okay, no, but that's a division of Baker Publishing Group. I don't know anything about this division Chosen. Is it come from the show or does it have a certain doctrinal bit, you know, kind of a doctrinal direction. And then it says new devotional from Joshua Giles and then the book. There's a picture of the book and it says prophetic Reset forty days to aligning with God's plan for your life. Oh, they're doing the forty days for that format has been so popular for a long time in Christian publishing world, right, forty days forty days devotional forty days, you know, the purpose driven life and forty days or whatever, forty days, this, forty days, that, forty days, this, forty days. They love that, that kind of format and thirty days forty days. And I think they like it because it gives everyone because in the Christian publishing world, you know, small groups still rule the world in many churches. So if you have forty days or this or forty days of that, you can use it for your small groups. You can use it so or you can use it for however. And I think I think that that that format just works for a lot of people. But it's a prophetic reset forty days to align myself with

50 God's plan for my life. So God has a plan, but I've got to align myself with said plan. It seems like. Okay. So so then I look underneath that, hang on, let me let me go back in there. We go, all right, So I, yeah, my page is doing weird things here. Okay. So underneath that picture of the book, it says a new devotional from Joshua Giles that has a picture of the book. Then underneath that it says, I gotta refresh this this page is doing weird things. Okay. Then underneath that it says God is doing a new thing. Be ready for it. So they've emphasized that now twice God is doing a new thing. I gotta get ready for it. Then underneath that we read these words, join Prophetic Leader. Oh we have a prophetic leader. Oh boy, I have a feeling this is somewhere in the charismatic world. Ladies and gentlemen, I believe, But remember this whole series I am Christianity is just to let you know what's going on. But I have a feeling it's right there in the charismatic world. It has to be all right. So I'm like, okay, what in the world is this? So I'm like, well, let me let me look this up. So I found it on Amazon and here's what I found out. This book will be released tonight at midnight. This book will be released tomorrow, June the eighteenth, twenty twenty four. They have it on sale right now for eleven dollars and thirty

50 nine cents eleven dollars and thirty nine cents for the kindle, eleven dollars and ninety nine cents for hardcover. It is currently the number one best seller in are you ready Pentecostal and Charismatic Christianity? It had charismatic written all over it. Now it's already the number one best seller in that category. How many copies does that actually mean? Whistled? I have no idea. Now, Also, we have to remember there's some kind of there are also sometimes some very questionable games played in the Christian publishing world. Right where a church, like so a pastor puts out a book, the church will buy a large number of copies. They will ultimately hand them out. But by buying a massive amount of copies at the beginning, then that propels that pastor's book to number one on the best selling list. So then that then is free marketing.

50 If it's number one, then are like, ooh, everyone's like this is a good book. So then people go buy the book. But reality, most of those numbers were purchased by the church or the minished itself, which is so deceitful, so messed up. That's not in fact, I'm not saying that's what happened in this case. But it's already number one. That means it's number one based off pre orders. That would be a pretty big accomplishment. Now I don't know anything. I don't even know how to pronounce the man's name. I just know it's Gils. I want to say Giles, but it could be Giles. I keep going with Giles. Someone probably can email me saying you don't even know. I'm admitting I don't know anything about the person. I don't know anything about it, mainly because he's obviously in the charismatic world, and I loathe the charismatic world. Have nothing to do with charismatic theology. But even though I don't agree with it and despise charismatic theology, you got to keep an eye on what's going on in that world. So this book is out or will be out, and well, you know, not too many hours it will be out. I don't think I'm going to purchase a copy of it, but I am going to keep track and see if I start seeing it showing up here or there.

00 Now, if I want you to keep an eye out for it, and if you keep an if you keep an eye out for and you start seeing the book show up here, the books show up here, or an advertisement for it, or you know people who are talking about it. Then let me know, and then maybe I have to get a copy and we'll discuss. I mean, it's going to be your standard charismatic. I mean, it's just going to be tim play charismatic man. Charismatic movement is such a cancer. It's a cancer in Christianity. It needs to be cut out. It needs to be We need chemotherapy to get charismatic theology out of Christianity. It needs to be eradicated, removed. It has no business in the Christian world. It's I can't stand it. I just can't stand I can't stand it. All right, So but here's the again. It's it's the entire title of the book. It's Prophetic Reset forty Days to align with God's Plan for your Life again, hardcover and unkindled. A published publishing date will be June the eight. Oh, I can read a sample. Let's read a sample. All right, let's read a sample. Here we go. If you go to Amazon dot com and look for the book again, Prophetic Reset forty Days to aligning with God's Plan and for your life you can, you can start looking at it. So there's the cover lists some of his other books, Prophetic Reset. All right, here's the copyright material. Here's the contents. Week one, Refresh, Day one, a fresh Start, Day

32 two, bring Me back to You, Day three, get Ready, it's going to rain. Is that the h the latter rain kind of concept? I don't know. Day four everything Great starts Small. Day five, a new season of Harvest. Week two. Day six consecrations, sound the Trumpets. Day seven crossing over, healing from the past. Day eight, crossing over the end of a thing. Day nine crossing over favor and super natural transfer Transfer. Day ten Celebration. It's revival time. So you can go through. So each section is broken down into one week sections. Again, perfect for small groups, that type of thing. That's that's how these books really. When you get a book that churches will start using in their small groups and that kind of thing, that's when they start becoming influential, right, Women's Bible Studies, Men's Bible Studies, small groups, Sunday School club.

29 That's when. Once you get churches at large to start purchasing the books, the books go right on the top of the best selling list. And then they start becoming massively influential. I'm not saying this one can have I don't think it should have wide appeal. I mean, it obviously seems to be straight in the charismatic world. I hope it doesn't have wide appill because I wish charismatic, you know, Christianity would cease to exist. But okay, all right, so here's week one. Let's just see how they handle scripture. Are you ready? Here's Week one, Day one, A fresh start, Bring us back to you, give us a fresh start. That is supposedly a quote from the Book of Lamentations, chapter five, verse twenty one, Lamentations five twenty one. I'm going to reach down and grab my bible Lamentations five twenty one, Lamentations five twenty one. We were supposed to do work in the Book of Lamentations. We never got to it because, well, our study in Jeremiah took way too long. Well it didn't really take away too long, it's just it took up the entire time that we were working on it. Lamentations five twenty one. Turn us back to you, oh Lord, and we will be restored. Now that says, bring us back to you, give us a fresh start. Now. I just want to make sure we point that out. Look here, turn us back

02 to you, a Lord, and we will be restored. Who is the US and who is the Wei? Who is the US and who is the Wei? I guarantee you the US and the Wi there is not the you or the me. Okay right, The US and the WII is not you and me. The US and the WII is them. Probably has something to do with Judah. Babylonian captivity, probably has something to do with that. But we'll see how this is handled. Are you ready? Here we go. The author of today's verse is believed to be Jeremiah, who had been crying out to the Lord for mercy because of the things that have been happening that he had seen happen to the nation Israel. Okay, I'm gonna stop right there. I was not expecting that that is really good. Okay, that is awesome that it acknowledges the historical context there. Okay, wait, when it's good, When something is good, I'm gonna say so. I like that. That's good. But what's going to happen here? There was so much calamity. Their land had been stolen and left in ruins. Children had been left fatherless, men had been shamed and hanged, wives were widowed, and daughters were raped. Our hearts are sad. Instead of dancing, we mourn. We feel sick all over and can't even see straight. Lamentations five fifteen through seventeen, Carrying the grief of his people, the prophet cried out in bitter anguish to the Lord, saying, how long will you allow the wicked to prevail and the righteous to suffer? Maybe you've been in this

33 same place where you've said, Lord, how long will you allow this? Those who operate wickedly to prosper? They are corrupt and deceitful. They have compromised and walked away from your principles, and yet they prosper and all they do now I would just add down the additional context is those people that were suffering, though, were not always necessarily righteous, because the reason they're in Babylonian captivity in the first place was because of their unrighteousness. Correct, Okay, but let's go on. It says, maybe you have seen maybe you you have also seen people who faithfully do what the Lord asks and who lives righteously deal with such deal with much warfare, one blow after another. How long, oh Lord, will you leave us in this place? Is the bitter anguish from our soul? As Jeremiah, did, you too, pray for mercy? Okay, I like the way I mean, I think that's a fair application. They were suffering, they were crying out to God.

30 We can find ourselves and suffering where we cried out to God. I did somewhat similar with Psaw eighty three. Right, So, all right, this, this is actually much better than I thought. I thought it was going to be much worse. But let's wait and see. Though, Let's wait and see, hang on, let's continue. I believe that for you, God's grace and mercy are on the way. Despite the warfare, resistance, and demonic backlash you've been experiencing. You have stopped. You have stepped out to do what the Lord gave you the initiative to do. You have you have remained faithful, You have lived righteously. Don't ever believe God does not see you, but also be aware, be sober. The enemy hates the purpose of God and the life of the believer. Okay, not not necessarily a fan of the way that paragraph is written, because when you say we have lived righteously Do you mean without sin? Can you? Can you live righteously and yet be sin in your life? Do you mean we live righteously positionally? Do you mean practically? All right? Got some issues with it, all right, but it's like, hey, basically you can be striving.

37 I would have written, we strive to try to follow God and perfectly, and we can find our times times suffering and maybe not understanding. Okay, I could rewrite it a little bit, but okay, I'm not too bothered yet. Whenever you step out in faith and obey the Lord, the hounds of hell will try to come after you to stop what God is doing in your life. But there is good news. The domnic spirits have no authority over you unless you allow them to. Okay, now that's an interesting theological perspective. Do demonic spirits that have no authority unless I allow them to?

17 So? Can a demonic spirit have control over a believer who supposedly the child of God is in Christ? And we can get into a lot of discussions here. Right as the scripture says, no weapon formed against you shall prosper Isaiah fifty four seventeen. Now, when it says, no weapon formed against you shall prosper? Is that a verse for you? Or is that a verse for Israel? And if no weapon formed against me will prosper? Then how do then, how do we explain any bad thing happening? What weapons are we referring to? Physical weapons? Plenty of Christians are killed, spiritual weapons will plenty of Christians sin and fall? So what weapons are you referring to there? That's Isaiah fifty I'm going to look it up really quick, Isaiah fifty four seventeen. I would challenge you to look up Isaiah fifty four to seventeen and find the context. Isaiah fifty four seventeen. Here we go, I'm going the wrong way. Isaiah fifty four seventeen. A couple more pages chapter fifty two. They're fifty four seventeen, and we read these words. So okay, hang on, if we if we go back to the beginning of chapter fifty four, all right, I'm looking here. I'm just kind of going through chapter fifty four. We'd have to try to find some kind of context here. Clearly this is being spoken of, nor shall

52 my covenant of peace be removed? Now? See this? I think this is going to be our reference to Israel. He's made up, he's made a covenant with all right, And then it says, no weapon formed against you Verse seventeen shall prosper in every tongue which raises against you, and judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from me, says the Lord. Again, when it says no weapon, we gotta put that in some kind of historical context. You just can't tell Christians, Hey, no weapon against you shall prosper. Boom, you just died. No weapon against you shall prosper. You just fell into temptation. No weapon formed against you, and you just got discouraged and depressed, and you just got angry, and you just committed sin, and you just got frustrated. What do you mean, no no weapon formed?

36 Again? Look, what does that mean? Again? It's just a verse so ripped out of its immediate context. All right, they go on. So, so as you cry out to God in the midst of your troubles, I hear him say, I'm releasing to you a fresh start. Now, how do you hear God saying I'm releasing to you a fresh start? You don't hear God saying that, because God only speaks to us through his word, and you're yet to show me in scripture where God is saying that specifically to you or to me. You've quoted lamentations where God is speaking it to Judah and Babylonian captivity, and you've given me a verse in Isaiah, which is about Israel. So you've not yet shown me where God is saying anything like that to me. So I don't know why you would say that you hear God saying that, because you don't hear God saying that. God only speaks to us through scripture. So unless you can show me where it says that in scripture, then you're just making this up, all right.

22 I hear him saying, I'm releasing to you a fresh start. The Lord is bringing you back to himself. He's calling you to a place of restoration and recovery and a place of safety so that you can start over. He knows that this is a season of your life. Of your life has begun with difficulty. I remember a particular difficult season in my life that started off with much warfare. I received one attack after another. I dealt with it silently, and with my prayer partners and those who are part of my team. We know, of course that life has its challenges. Sometimes it rains, sometimes the sun is shining. But this time it seemed as if the enemy had stepped it up. And the days passed and we pressed into God. More began to hear from others who were going through similar levels of warfare, attacks and infirmity in their bodies. Whatever darkness Satan had released in the world the previous season, he had increased it in this one. The Lord did not let me go too far in the battle, and the Lord did not let me get too far into the battle and into intercession for others who were also battling, before he stopped me to say, and now again, this is what God supposedly says, all right, here we go.

32 Although this season has started off badly, I'm going to turn the page and release a fresh start. So now we have, of course, direct revelation from God outside of the Bible. Again, this is where I don't ever want to be mean to charismatics. But when you tell me God is talking to you, that just makes it's crazy. You destroy the authority of Bible. The Bible is no longer even unique? Why even read it? God is talking directly to you? Why read? Why study? No, it's just Oh, the whole thing drives me crazy. God only speaks to us through his word. The end, the end. No more stop telling me God said something to you unless you quote scripture. And in some of those scriptures you quote, that's not God saying anything to you. That was God saying something to them. So then we have to figure out how it possibly applies to us. I can't. I hate that all right. Whenever we come to a place where we sense that God is leading us into a new season in our lives, we should take the time to assess what has happened since the last turning point. We should wait for a prophetic word or give language to what we hear the Lord saying. No, you shouldn't wait for a prophetic word. You should read your Bible. No, you don't give language to what you hear the Lord saying. You simply repeat what God has said in his word. The phrase fresh start that God used to prophetically define the next moment means that God is going to hit the reset button and the new leg of your journey will be as if you're starting the a whole new season. With this fresh start, you are entering another sphere of influence,

06 another door. Opportunities are beginning to open for you right now. You will not be pigeonholed into the place that you have been. You will not remain stuck at the level you have been on. That sounds to me like a horoscope. It's just pure speculation. He has no idea at all. He can't say that this person cannot see this to anybody else. He has no idea what God is or isn't going to do for anyone. That's just not true. As you start fresh with God, I decree that glory will return to Zion. What does that even mean? Regardless of how things were going in the past, You will enter a period of celebration. You will dance during famine. You will rejoice in the midst of chaos. You will shout and give praise to God amidst all the things you're going that's going on around you. Decree this over the season, over your day to day. Look for the small victories, look for the small wins, Look for God's favor, look for the ways in which He is restoring you, and declare that is this celebration time, you have entered a season of new harvest. That's just all just words, just meaningless words that you don't know any of that's going to happen. What do you mean declare it? Declaring it so doesn't make it so unless this is a very much a word of faith concept.

18 Renew your mind with fresh perspectives and don't allow the enemy to steal your joy or your praise. Set your mind and spirit towards celebration. Will there still be a tax and chaos, Yes, Jesus said in the world you will have trouble, But take heart, I have overcome the world. So no matter how grim things look around you, use your eyes of faith and rejoice in the midst of it. Decree God is giving me a fresh start. This is fascinating because this literally is the opposite of what I tried to teach yesterday with Psalm eighty three. We put our faith in God, and we trust in God, not because He's going to make everything right, and we can dance during famine and we can celebrate, and everything's gonna be great, and He's gonna give me a fresh start, and I'm not gonna be pigeonholed and he's going to open a door and he's gonna set me free. No, when we are facing horrible difficulties, we put our faith in God because he is God, and it's irregardless of what he will or may not do.

17 We don't look to God to fix everything. We look to God because he is God, and he may not fix anything. The cancer may not go away, your mom may still die, your father may still die, your child may not be found. The abuse may not stop. This is the direct opposite of what I was trying to teach yesterday, the direct opposite that just drives me. That just drives me crazy. Have faith and believe that God will help. He will can tell you you will continue to be effective in his assignment of the Lord on your life. You will see the hand of the Lord move no matter how dark it gets. Set your heart to rejoice anyway. So the idea is you're putting your faith in trust in God because He's going to fix everything. That is an absolute philological recipe to lead people to the pit of utter, complete despair, or they have to start pretending everything is great when it's clearly not. Then he goes on to say I decree everything in your life is about to change for the better.

34 How can this person make such a decree? Everything in my life is about to change for the better. Everything in my life, well, I've got some specific things I need you to change, very specific. Now you said it's going to happen. Do I get my money back if I buy this book and this doesn't work out. I'm sharing with you what I sensed from heaven in my time of prayer regarding what the Holy Spirit is doing right now. Everything in your life is about to change for the better. As you yield to the wild of God in your life, as you listen for the leading of the whole experience, you will experience a fresh start. He's literally promising everyone who reads the book that everything in their life is going to get better. We know that's not true. This is the time to lean in and start again, to launch out again. I know you tried it before and it didn't work, but you will accomplish it this time. I know you built something and it got knocked down. The enemy came after it, and you experienced loss. But the Lord says that you must build it again, start fresh, and this time the momentum of God is going to be with you. You're going to see a spiritual momentum that will build in your favor. Wow. I almost want to sue the publisher for spiritual malpractice.

51 That's like a doctor telling you, hey, everything's gonna get better, everything's gonna wa Hey. I know you've been suffering with cancer, but just wait, just wait, wait, God is on your side and he's gonna build momentum and everything's gonna get better. Just to create, and then the person comes back six months later like I'm about to die. I got about a month to live. You're a liar doctor. That's that's spiritual malpractice. That's just absolute deceitful lies that that is not true. You cannot say that that God is telling telling him everyone who reads this book this, this is just not true. People who people who are alive today will possibly die and suffer horrible things over the next six months. Oh that makes me want to throw my iPad across the room. Now, the one thing I will say positive about this, that is much longer devotional entry than you typically get typically get in books. So I do apply that that's much longer entry. Typically you get like a paragraph or so. He definitely wrote much longer but then look at how the scriptures were handled. Now, he did offer a little bit of historical context to limitations, but then immediately made it about us. He provided no context to Isaiah and literally made it about us. And then he

22 goes forth and supposedly hears from God outside of the Bible, and then supposedly here's God and then speaks to us and makes promises that we just know are not true. It's just flattered. That chapter is just a flat out lie. He cannot decree those things to be true of your life or my life. He cannot. So the name of the book is a prophetic Reset forty days to aligning with God. Let me read this story. Prophetic Reset forty days to aligning with God's Plan for your life by Joshua g I L E S. I'm gonna go Giles g I L E S. That's from Baker Publishing Group, and then it's from Chosen, which is a division of Baker Publishing Group. That book comes out midnight tonight. You've heard the first chapter.

34 That is the that is a segment of Christianity right there. That's very much in the charismatic world that I reject, condemn and if I'm telling you I would choose to meet with a group of atheists before I met with a group of charismatics. It's just that's that's how much I despise. I don't even see it as as an authentic form of Christianity in any way, shape or form. It's not an alternative, it's not it's not an option. No, I would I would rather. I would rather meet with a team of group of Satanists than I would with than before I met with charismatics. I think charismatic, I think, and when you see they worship, say Satanism is a worship of self, Okay, And I think charismatic theology is deluded by actual satan Satanists are just they just worshiped themselves. Or Charismatics think they worshiped God, but they've been completely deceived by Satan himselves. I think it's demonic and just completely heretical that that to tell everyone things are going to get better, things are gonna get better, Everything's going to be amazing things.

38 God's about to change your life for the better. It sounds like a horoscope. In fact, horoscope probably more accurate. Well, there you have it. The goal here was simple, just to tell you about the book. I didn't know. I forgot. I didn't even realize we're gonna have the opportunity to read a chapter, so we at least got a little extra in. I just wanted you to be aware of it, so you keep your eye out for it. If you start seeing it show up in different places, let me know where. How if you hear people are reading it, let me know who. And if you find out people are reading it who don't go to charismatic churches, that's always the thing that that's the thing that always just like WHOA, what is going on? Going on? Going on going on? Because I get really worried. Then it's like non charismatics picking up this charismatic heresy and then reading it and then start becoming influenced by it. And you have a lot of non charismatic churches who sound very charismatic because obviously the leadership is being influenced by charismatic books and theology. All right, you can email me news I F at yahoo dot com. News, I F at yahoo dot com. That's news, I F at yahoo dot com. Everyone, have a great rest of your Monday. God bless
