Who do you want to be through your journey?

Who do you want to be through your journey?

Most of run on empty. We don't even realize how empty empty really is until we have a loved one with substance abuse challenges. When navigating the world of mental health, it can feel so isolating, daunting, intimidating, and hopeless.

So many times you may have acknowledged that you need help with your loved one. You may have even tested the waters and deep down you say to yourself, "I can't go there right now." It all seems too much to handle so you live in a state of compartmentalization only doing just enough to barely survive the day. You sit around and wait for them to get their lives together so you can breathe again, and just right when you think something has shifted for them BAM! They almost seem even worse.

You may ask yourself, "How am I supposed to continue living like this??? What am I supposed to do???"

Here is why I call myself a motivational artist. I created The YANA Connection. The idea is to create a community that can help you feed your soul, empower you, and connect you with others that can uplift you, make you feel strong enough to handle whatever happens, and get the help you need with your loved one.

In this journey, the best place to start is getting a little reminder of how strong you really are, a little bit of hope, and some inspiration. It's good to remind yourself that this is simply what is happening, it doesn't say anything about who you are. So, I create artwork that does just that. Artwork that is designed to give you the strength you need to be able to handle the inner work that needs to be done for yourself to help you navigate the journey you are having with your addicted loved one. It's not easy, but it is worth it.

Beyond the artwork, I can help you figure out what you need to do about your loved one. How do you set boundaries? I can help you fill in the gaps of the red flags you are seeing. I can help you know what to expect, how to communicate with them, and how to truly show support for them.

All you want to do is help them, and I can show you how while giving you the strength to make the tough decisions. The way I see tough love is not about being tough on them, it's about making decisions that are tough to do. This is not an overnight process, this is your journey like it or not. The question you have to ask yourself is who do you want to be through it?

If you want to start living your life again, WHILE helping and supporting your loved one, I want you to set up a call with me. You can schedule it whenever you are ready. We will simply talk about how I can help you. The call is absolutely free, yes we will go through some of the different ways I can help. It may be the right time for you, it may not be the right time. What I can tell you is if you want to start getting your life back, you will want to make this call. I know it is scary and daunting to make that leap. It is so much easier pretending the problems will simply solve themselves. They won't, this problem isn't going away. At some point you will have to take action or risk completely losing yourself.

I will repeat the most important question. Who do you want to be through this journey? If you don't like where you are heading, lets pivot and take a different path. https://www.maneelyconsulting.com/schedule-a-call
