Destiny Johnston

Licensed Practical Nurse

I am a Licensed Practical Nurse and the founder of Forward Frontline, an advocacy initiative launched in 2023 to spark open conversations around mental health in Frontline and healthcare work. After personally facing the realities of PTSD, burnout, and depression as a result of my career in healthcare, I recognized a critical gap in resources available to those who serve in their communities. Determined to be a part of the solution, I began partnering with organizations and institutions to raise awareness, provide education, and connect Frontline workers with the mental health resources and support that they deserve. Through my work I continue to champion resilience, open the conversation to help end the stigma, and create spaces where Frontline professionals are allowed to be heard and supported in their mental health.
