Erik Huberman: Founder & CEO at Hawke Media: Real Entrepreneurship

In this episode, my guest Erik Huberman, Founder & CEO at Hawke Media and I focus on what it means and takes to be an entrepreneur at the core of everything you do. Erik puts it best when he says that his pivotal moment as an entrepreneur was when he asked his father for a guitar, to which his father replied “get a job.” Instead of replying with “I’m eight years old” Erik replied with action, and started his first side hustle selling beanie babies. Erik’s ability to build ventures is well-demonstrated by his track record-- he launched and sold two successful ecommerce businesses early in his career and has gone on to build multiple organizations in both the venture and agency space.  His current primary role is leading Hawke Media as an “outsourced CMO” solution for many of the world’s most prominent companies. Erik works hard to live up to that value add as a true resource to aid companies just as a CMO would, and offers that to a large pool of his clients. We dig deep into the me…

Zachary Babcock is a non-traditional, no B.S. hustler who has amassed himself a powerful podcasting platform and agency since leaving prison. In this episode, Zach explains some of the most harrowing moments from his time in prison, and explains how he was able to rebuild his mentality to serve himself, rather than limit his progress. After some time of frustration upon leaving prison and trying to build up his brand, Zach was in his own words “pissed off.” He resolved to go all in on Underdog Empowerment, and allowed the doubters to fuel his path to success. It was only three days after he launched the show when he had become a top-ranking Apple Podcast. He followed that up by interviewing marketer Billy Gene, and from there was able to further leverage his early traction to interview other alpha entrepreneurs such as Grant Cardone, Andy Frisella, Neil Patel, and David Meltzer.
