Just listened to the “origin of morning brew sales” and thought it was fantastic. I started a career in sales about a year ago, and I’m always looking for different perspectives on how to communicate value.
Most important lesson here: People respond to people and stories more than they respond to products and features... emotion sells

I love listening to this because Alex takes complex topics and breaks them down into digestible and intriguing 10-12 min stories. Much like his business model with the Morning Brew, I find myself engaged with his content and tuning in to hear his new stories day after day.

Inspiring

Great content with actionable insights
It’s always great to hear what companies did to grow but the how is so helpful. Alex does it so well and it feels like I’m talking to a friend (even if I’m just listening.)

Uncomplicated insights that anyone can follow

Modern Thought Leadership
I really enjoy listening to Alex pull back the curtain on one of my favorite newsletters. While we may not align 100% of the time, I appreciate Alex’s candor and how he presents his insights. My favorite commentary is the self reflection and critique’s he gives himself. I personally believe there is no better way for a leader to ‘sharpen the saw’ and I enjoy constructive dialogue.

Humbling
Alex is the humbled Founder/ CEO voice I was looking for. We are not perfect humans, let alone leaders. Some of better than others, but we can all learn from each other. Thanks for sharing EVERYTHING and owning your faults (especially being a UM fan). Onward and upward.

Love this podcast as Alex gives an absolutely true story of his journey both as an entrepreneur and leader of a growing brand. I’d absolutely recommend if you’re looking to get inspired, motivated or thinking to take your career to next steps but not sure where to start.

Shouting Partial Sentences & Good Insights
This podcast is very insightful for people who are in a similar situation: growing a business for high growth.
The one thing that drives me absolutely nuts is the way this guy speaks. It is a combination of what seems like shouting, pausing mid sentence, and absolutely no self doubt.
