Fertility issues affect men and women equally. The idea that men need to date adolescent is a farce. It's a coercion mechanism, because quality of sperm also declines and the same predatory behavior isn't as commonly reversed. Ageism is a mechanism for patriarchy and child marriage is still legal in US.

Bummer
I used to really really love and look forward to this pod. I understand there obviously had to be a shake up due to the relationship, but the new agenda is so opposite of how the pod started. I appreciate the angle of body positivity and mental health, however I no longer feel like this podcast is a short escape from reality.
Ps contrary to most reviews I’ve seen, I think Jess is a sweetheart who very much values her job and her employer. I wish she wasn’t knocked so much by listeners for showing gratitude to her employer who clearly treats her with respect. If we could all be so fortunate!

This was the best one yet! James is gold! I want to go back to season 4 and rewatch the Big Bear episode! Listening to him say “he was so sad” at the reunion was heartfelt… love the honesty of you both. You both have grown so much.. it’s lovely to watch the evolution

Live for Lala
I can’t get enough Lala content. And I’m so impressed with how well she has handled the Randall situation. I think the assistant is just trying to be nice and supportive but it comes off as very in-genuine and cringe.

Pleasantly Surprised
I’ve been a Lala fan since her beginnings on VPR. I just started listening to the podcast to get the tea on the one who shall not be named. Instead I found a fun yet informative podcast that has guests that are important with stories that are worth hearing. I loved Parker on this last episode and was so happy to hear their story. That photo shows why representation is so important. Thank you for having them on.

I’ve always listened to your pod because I love you so much. I used to cringe every time “he who shall remain nameless” would speak. His voice, his laugh, everything about him was so obnoxious. I’m SO GLAD you are flying solo now!
I do hope you’ll go back to having guests, would love a Stassi and Brittany chat.
I also bought your mascara, eye shadow and lip gloss recently and I am LOVING it. Going to buy some for my besties.

Never listened when your ‘last’ cohost was still a part of, but the episodes since Thanksgiving have been some really great content.
