Dedicated exclusively to the performance of the building enclosure, he has spent nearly two decades refining his craft across the globe. After years of practicing in Washington State and New Zealand, Shawn returned home to Canada in 2025, bringing a robust, world-class perspective to the local landscape. Shawn is the founder and director of Oculus Building Science and Facades and Shelby Wright Test Labs both headquartered in NZ.
