Dr Marcus Strang is HIP V. HYPE's Technical Lead for Passivhaus, an experienced Certified Passivhaus Designer, and a Passivhaus Certifier, having had the opportunity to work on many Certified Passivhaus buildings across many different climates and typologies over the past 10 years. His expertise is in incorporating technical solutions around holistic systems design, building physics, passive design, and bio-based building materials. Marcus specialises in the Passivhaus standard and mass timber design, which he sees as fundamental steps towards an ecologically regenerative building industry.
