Forensic Analysis Startling Discoveries: Do Randall Emmett's Words Betray Him in FBI Probe

Do Randall Emmett’s words betray him?

Forensic Analysis: Examining Truth Behind Randall's FBI Probe

Welcome to The Big Shot, a Vanderpump Rules podcast.

This is a podcast about the Randall Emmett scandals. We will talk about his troubles as a Tinseltown movie producer, his fraught personal relationships and his financial woes.

Step into a world filled with excess and controversy as we unveil the story of one of Hollywood's most derided figures.

The Big Shot podcast peeks behind the seedy doors of Hollywood's elite and explores the deals, financial irregularities, and ethical dilemmas that have shadowed the Randall’s career.

My name is Lisa Tait and I’m an investigative journalist who reports on the Jeffrey Epstein case and on the Erika Jayne & Tom Girardi scandals.

And Vanderpump Rules has always been my first true Bravo love.

I’m going to start today with the Randall and Jax Taylor loan saga because the producer was recently in the Bahamas and his former friend wasn’t amused.

And in case you’re looking for Randall, Jax, he’s playing a lot of high stakes poker. Someone needs to serve Randall legal papers like they did Erika Jayne at the airport.

There are people you can hire for this and make sure it’s filmed and popped on to TMZ like they did with Erika. (please note: Lisa Rinna made sure she was out of shot for that one)

Meanwhile, is Randall’s pickleball obsession over and has it been replaced by Squash?

Now remember on this podcast I will offer you the facts. Anything that is conjecture will be described clearly as such. It’s my obligation as a journalist to report this fairly and accurately.

Okay let’s get into the details of the other Vanderpump Rules scandal.

Back in December, Randall took to social media to clear his name after his ex-wife, actress Ambyr Childers, claimed the FBI was investigating him for pedophilia.

In a signed declaration, submitted as part of a domestic violence restraining order, she told the court he “is being investigated by the FBI for suspected child exploitation and/or pedophilia.”

Ambyr said she learned of the alleged investigation on Dec. 6 when she “was contacted by a special agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation asking [her] questions about [Emmett’s] suspected activities.”

“This call caused me extreme destruction and disturbance of my emotional calm and peace of mind in that (my children) are often alone with [Emmett] while he may be engaging in acts of child exploitation and/or pedophilia."

The 34-year-old actress was married to Randall from 2009 to 2017 and was granted the order on Dec. 22.

A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge ordered that Randall stay 100 yards away from Ambyr, her home, her workplace and her vehicle, except to "briefly and peacefully" exchange their kids for court-ordered visits.

An LA Times report claimed the newspaper had spoken to three individuals who were contacted by the FBI about the alleged investigation.

The claims were quickly denied by Randall, but Lala later posted a telling Instagram story. While she didn't mention him by name, she wrote, “Keep telling yourself whatever you need [to] help you sleep at night. You’re seen.”

Randall alleged to Page Six the FBI investigation was a ploy by Lala for sole custody of their child.

The VPR actress had also supported Ambyr's requests for custody, as the two developed a friendship after years of feuding.

Their newfound camaraderie led Randall to allege the two women were conspiring to destroy his reputation.

Now let’s get to the latest bit: today we are going to take a further deep dive into Randall’s psyche.

And we ask: Do his words betray him?

So far, the FBI allegations are the most serious facing the troubled producer, plus there are many others, as listeners of this podcast know. Financial and business problems.

To get more insight into his denials, I contacted Mark McClish, a former senior federal law enforcement officer from the secret service and the US Marshals Service.

From 1991 to 1999, he taught interviewing techniques at the U.S. Marshals Service Training Academy in Georgia. During his nine years teaching at the facility, he conducted research on deceptive language. Based on his findings, he developed techniques to determine if a person is lying or telling the truth by analyzing the subject's language.

So Next he developed the Statement Analysis® system, which he claims is  the most accurate way of determining if a person is lying in a verbal or written statement.

According to Mark, a person cannot give a lengthy deceptive statement without revealing that it is a lie or the truth. This is because their words will betray them.

I have asked Mark before to use his statement analysis technique for my Erika Jayne podcast, Goodbye Glam Squad.

He looked at several statements Erika made in an episode of RHoBH. I also sought his help when my friend was doing a podcast on the convicted baby killer, Keli Lane.

But on the Big Shot today, our expert employs his formal approach, utilizing specialised forensic techniques to dissect Randall's denial.

By examining his words with meticulous attention to detail, we aim to reveal any hidden truths or inconsistencies that may have been overlooked.

Moreover, We are essentially putting Randall’s FBI Denial Under the Microscope.

Through this formal statement review, we aim to provide a comprehensive breakdown of Randall's denials.

These are Mark’s words voiced by an actor:

To answer your question, yes, he does think he is a good guy; "I'm a good father and I'm a good person." He also stated he is a "great father." He believes this to be true.

In analyzing his statement, I saw where he used the word "actually" which is not needed; "say something that actually was true." The word "actually" always means a person is making a comparison. Although we don't know for sure, it appears he is comparing his true statements with the false statements made about him.

He used the phrase "you know" six times. Some people use this phrase because they want you to take for granted what they are saying is true. However, we don't know it to be true unless the person specifically tells us it is true. Some people have a habit of using this phrase. It shows up repeatedly throughout their statement. That appears to be the case here.

He said, "We spent today getting confirmation." We would like to know who is included in the pronoun "we."

The biggest problem with his statement is that it lacks any denials. "I am at a place where I felt come on here and say something that actually was true versus, you know, the last eleven, twelve, fourteen months that the things have been said about me. Everything under the sun, you know, narcissist, cheater." People may have said these things but he doesn't deny being a narcissist and a cheater. He is accused of child exploitation and pedophilia. He doesn't mention that or deny that.

He said "The lies have been stretched so far" but he doesn't mention specifically what lies.

He said, "We spent today getting confirmation." He doesn't tell us where the confirmation came from. He mentioned the FBI but did not state it came from the FBI. Furthermore, he didn't state what was confirmed.

I have an explanation about why he’s not specifically mentioning the claims. I used to work in crisis management at an international consulting firm.

Saying: “I’m not a pedophile” is ripe with consequences. If there’s one cliché question that people associate with media training, it’s this one: “When did you stop beating your wife?”

According to the Throughline blog this question is offered as an example of an (almost) impossible question to answer well, since most people will look guilty when they deny the charge.

Imagine, for example, a fictional Senator Sandavol answering the question by saying:

“I’m offended by that. I never beat my wife, and how dare you suggest that.”

The headlines will inevitably be dreadful, something like:

“SENATOR SAndoval: ‘I NEVER BEAT MY WIFE’”

But I didn’t stop there. To get a more comprehensive look into Randall’s statement, I asked body language expert Traci Brown.

Here's what's unusual. He's got a really big blink after he says I've been a dad for a long time.  Then he says he has custody of his kids.  So that tells me that there's a stress point somewhere in him about being a dad or possibly being a good dad.

To look at all angles-- who isn't a little stressed about being a dad?  It's more likely there's a stress point about being a good dad.

I wasn't in control of the interview and we don't have enough video of him to make this delineation here.  But we know that something's up.
