Mike Grant Running in Recovery

Meet Mike Grant. Six years ago, he was in an intensive diversion program for habitual drunk driving. Now, he's a 100-mile ultra-marathoner, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and the author of the gritty, honest memoir, (Re)Making A Sandwich. This interview will shock and inspire you. Mike reveals the raw truth of his recovery journey, from hitting the streets with his 4-year-old son to conquering unimaginable distances. But his story doesn't end there. Discover how Mike, an addiction therapist at Kaiser Permanente, has built RUN TRG, a revolutionary running club in Portland for people in recovery. This isn't just about exercise; it's about building a family, achieving impossible goals, and, critically, maintaining sobriety. Mike proudly shares that their club has seen an almost zero relapse rate – a truly remarkable achievement in the world of addiction recovery. Tune in to hear how one man's personal transformation is leading to a community-wide movement of healing and triumph. https://www.amazon.com/Re-Making-Sandwich-Addiction-Study-ebook/dp/B09J7VMSQM/ HELP SUPPORT OUR FIGHT AGAINST ADDICTION.
