You shared a link to your episode on social media and the image isn't showing — or the wrong image is showing.
Social networks read the preview image from your page's metadata, and they often cache whatever they saw the first time. The quickest way to diagnose the problem is to check what Podpage is actually sending.
How to check
- In your dashboard, go to Episodes → All Episodes and edit the episode with the image issue.
- Check the Social Preview Image field. If it's empty, Podpage falls back to your episode artwork, so an image should still be sent.
- Go to metatags.io, paste the link to that episode, and click Parse Meta Data.
If the correct image appears on metatags.io, Podpage is sending the right information and the issue is with the social network — usually a cached preview on their side. See Updating your social media preview image for how to clear it.
If the image is wrong on metatags.io too, update the Social Preview Image on that episode, save, and test the link again. Still stuck? Contact support and we'll take a look.
