If an embedded YouTube video isn't loading on your Podpage website, the error you see tells you exactly where to look. This is usually quick to fix.
If you see "An error occurred"

This typically means the video link is incorrect and the video can't be found.
- Go to the place in your Podpage dashboard where you entered the link.
- Copy the link and paste it into your browser's address bar.
- If it doesn't load, the link is wrong — find the correct link on YouTube and paste that into Podpage.
- If the link does load in your browser, email support so we can take a look.
If you see "Video unavailable"

The link is correct and the embed is set up properly — the issue is a setting on the YouTube side. To fix it, check these settings in YouTube:
Step 1: Check the video's privacy setting
- Go to your YouTube Studio dashboard.
- Find the video in question.
- Click Edit or Visibility.
- Make sure the video is set to Public or Unlisted — private videos can't be embedded.
Step 2: Check for copyright claims
Copyright claims on a video's music can also stop it from displaying. Review the affected videos in YouTube Studio for copyright claims or strikes.
Step 3: Try switching the video to Unlisted
If the problem persists, changing the video's visibility to Unlisted sometimes resolves it. If you've tried all three steps and the video still won't load, contact support and we'll help you sort it out.
If you see a spinning circle

If the video never loads and all you see is a spinner, the problem is your Cookiebot settings.
- In your dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations.
- Click the Connected button on the Cookiebot card.
- In the Cookiebot Domain Group ID field, enter the correct ID from your Cookiebot account — or remove it if you no longer use Cookiebot.
- Click Save.
Tip: For help setting up Cookiebot correctly, see Integrating Cookiebot into Podpage.
